No one comes close to milking like EA. If you're going to try and defend them at least use reasonable examples like Mario Party and Tony Hawk. GT and MGS come out once every 4 years...
And? Those are on of the greatest series u are putting up against a third party dev that has been dissappointing with some of the releases so why even bring up such a comparison? I mean have u played madden lately, man EA has just made it so crappy now days on next gen.

Exactally, not only have their been more Madden games like MG games which might I add is a older franchise all of the MG games are good as they don't come out every year and a lot of effort is but into making unlike EA and the rooster updates, they only really make a good sport game every 3 or so years and then the next two are rooster updates. Its like Mario you could cry milkage but all the ones on Nintendo consoles are good just like MG games, anyway flamebait/joke thread.
Sequels are not necessarily milkage. Think of it this way, would you call super mario 64 milkage? Heck no! It is probably the best 3d platformer of all time and it greatly diffrentiates itself from the previous marios. Would you call MGS series milkage? Heck no! It has a different story each time, and adds new gameplay features that improve on the previous iteration making it feel like a completely fresh game. As for GT, well its a car simulater...i mean they have to stay real...they cant add super turbo jet fighter mode :| On the other hand, EA has about 5billion NFS games that are exactly the same thing save 1 new decal.
Its a little different when they are at least doing new things such as mgs. Each game evolved into a new masterpiece. Cant say the same thing about E.A's whole sport lineup...Oh, I forgot that its new controls and the teams are different:roll:
Plus look at Halo...1,2,3,Halo wars, the game that is set early in halo history, the movie, books, HALO SODA; Are you FREAKING kidding me?!?!

False, considering they never add anything to the game... what Madden does yearly could easily be a 10 dollar patch.

I dont really see the problem. If people are buying the games then why should they stop making them. Yes games like Madden and Fifa comes out every year but EA isn't forcing anyone to buy these games every year. I play fifa but i buy this game every couple of years as there is not enough improvement in the game to buy it every year.
When i was younger i would have bought it every year just for the slight improvement and updated infomation so there is people wanting this game to come out every year.

I am not really complaining. I haven't bought a Madden game since 03, and this generation got NCAA 08 and don't plan on getting another football game. But if they would just release cheap updates every year I would definately pick up Madden.
GT? I guess you mean prolouge, you could say that, but they made it even though it would mean less time for the full version for the fans that could not wait. I think that it was nice of them.
MGS???? I dont get you there, each game has been great with a continuing storyline, do you mean MGO? you could be right, but I thought the online version was made because they could not fit both on one disk.
Why you only call out GT and MGS? Aren't we on Halo 3, with halo wars around the corner? Aren't there like 3 versions of ninja gaiden all of which are basically the same? Aren't we on the 1 million rainbow six game? Oh nvm I see who the TC is now.
seriously ea is no different to other devs, look at ubi, r6v then vegas 2 with hardly any improvments, splinter cell has been milked to death and double agent just sent the series down hill with no innovation, ghost recon same thing, cod4=cod2 in modern. halo3 = halo 1 with online, all comapnies are much the same, just ea is on its buying spree at the moment so every one is hatting them.
Are you kidding? Going by your logic, Nintendo is completely composed up of milk and ureters because the Mario games have hit 1000th installments by now. Not to mention the fact that GT games have greatly improved in every aspect as new games have been released. New physics engines have been used, tons of cars have been built from the ground up, tracks have been upgraded and remodeled. Madden games are literally exact interations of each other with updated rosters and a few new inane features.
Don't even get me started on MGS. Each game has its own unique story, new characters, new weapons, new gameplay mechanics. Did I mention the graphics, sound, and all other technical areas of the game really push the hardware the game is developed for? MGS2 was one of the best looking PS2 games to date and it released how early into the PS2's lifespan?
Think before you post. Madden games have never pushed a console to its limits.
