It might be Lost Odyssey for me but that's basically a Final Fantasy. The New IP that I got the most enjoyment out of was probably Resistance.

There are alot of good choices. No More Heroes, portal, Dead Rising, bioshock, Pheonix Wright, Trauma Center Second opinion (its the DS game but way better and with lots of extras), Zack and wiki, Professor Layton. These are all full of awesome.

Wouldnt you say so? Its like saying Oblvion is not a spin off.

Oblivion is a sequel (in the same sense the FF games are sequels) I've never played the System Shock games so I really wouldn't know.

1. Cave Story doesn't count. It came out in 2003. This is 2005 and up, unless you are talking about Cave Days, which you aren't.

2. Super Mario Galaxy IS a sequel. It doesn't count, or else I would say that, too.
