Inarguably the great Koji Kondo's most recognizable work, arguably one of his best, it's since gone on to be the theme of gaming, weather you like it or not.

4. Megaman 2: Willy stage 1

3. Sly 2 Band of thieves: Paris

An ambient track that went of to become something of the theme song for the series, it captures slinking around the roofs of Paris wonderfully.

Nintendo is too readily accused of riding on nostalgia. If sheding a single, manly tear for my MK64 playing childhood at 1:10 is wrong however, I don't want to be right.

I won't spoil the circumstances around the chapter this song plays in. Suffice to say that it drives the player through the darkness around them and onto victory at all costs. those who have played the game will agree that this tune is worthy of the term "Epic" and ties together an amazing conclusion and makes Awakening feel like the amalgamation of the Fire Emblem saga as a whole.

If someone could tell me how to get embedding to work i'll update my post. I just end up with blank boxes.
