Well that depends. If Diablo 3 releases this year, then that game. If not, then I guess I will say Starcraft 2. I also look forward to getting a PS3 and starting my PS3 collection. Starting with the older cheaper games that are awesome like Uncharted, MGS4, ect., ect.

Metroid other M from this point onwards, it was SMG2 and before that Mass Effect 2 which both turned out awesome. Im having a good year for games so far actually :D lets hope it keeps up this way.

Full multiplayer map maker, with modifications to terrain and weather, like PC games and Far Cry 2.
This means that we can make any maps that we want.
Some article from a magazine called Popular Mechanics teased this, but I am taking it with a large amount of Salt.

It had been Mass Effect 2, but having already come out and been played so many times, it's now Halo Reach. I can't even begin to think of how many hours I'll sink into its robust multiplayer, plus I'm looking forward to experiencing the story of the most pivotal moment in Halo's history :D
Halo: Reach, I'm confident Bungie will deliver a campaign on par with CE. I shall whittle away many hundreds of hours smiting infidels online judging by the beta.
Littlebigplanet 2!!!! I can't believe how many people havn't mentioned this game. It is set to go beyond anything a videogame has ever done, the possibilities are endless. One thing I am worried about though is that it might not come out this year as it hasn't long been announced. Anyway even if it does or doesn't this is still my most anticipated game of this generation.
