Your opinions on Crysis 2 Demo.

I personally love this game's demo, shall I buy this game when it comes out or shall I not? Do you hate or like this game demo and why? Do you like it better than black ops and halo reach?

going to get the game for sure, but I won't be in any rush to get it either.

The graphics on this game are absolutely dreadful. The amount of blur, the lack of any draw distance, things consistently pop up in front of you, shadows are drawn in about three feet in front of you. Textures remind me of textures found in games like CSS and so does the vegetation. The game is slow paced beyond belief on consoles. Controls are clunky too hell. Aim assist is annoying. Yes it is a beta but the game is released in a few months and the frame rate on 360 is quite noticeably locked at 30fps and you can see it dip a lot. There is literally no AA, or AF for that matter to even see and jaggies fill the screen. I seriously hope the PC version is not a complete port of this with some piss poor performance crippling DX11 implementation included.

It was pretty cool, I liked the gameplay. Graphics were OK I guess, gonna wait for the PC version.

Looking forward for all when all those Crysis PC players find out that their precious Crysis has turned into Call of Duty (multiplayer). Should be fun days ahead. :lol:

At first I felt that it sucks. I played a bit more, reached rank 10, and i can say that is very different from CoD. Once you get the hang of it you can do a lot, and it is fun to kill all de CoD noobs out there. There is some room to be inteligent, not as much as crysis, but to me it is already a lot better than CoD or Halo 3.

I spent 320+ hours in Crysis Wars (Warhead multiplayer). I spent 100 hours in BLOPS and get bored. At least Crysis Wars had vehicles, large (huge) maps and a mix between Battlefield 2 (map scale + vehicles) and Counter Strike (buying your weapons in Power Struggle mode). Crysis 2 mp feels meh, a COD mp clone with no deep or substance.

It looks nice, but for me it still has nothing on Call of Duty mp wise. I'll wait on a single player demo to see if I want to buy it.

Two of the reasons why Crysis looks better right there ;) Metro also has some very Wonky animations and textures don't mesh well. Many npcs (especially, thse with headwear, ski-masks in particular) look bad like this guy:

Didn't do anything well enough to stand out for me, and the shooting had a weird feel to it (hopefully a quirk thats absent from the full game, or at least the single player). I'm still most likely going to pick it up though, the online may not hold my attention but the campaign looks incredible.

sounds better to me than Modern Warfare without nanosuit. i haven't played CoDs since the first MW, so i might actually give it a spin.

The engine didn't translate well to consoles. I'm excited for th PC demo.

Crysis's primary experience was in the single player, so I'm annoyed they are pumping out multiplayer demos...

Waitng for the PC demo.

I only had fun playing it for about two matches, but becamed bored after. It feels like another game is trying to be COD while also trying to be different. It was nothing special and the graphics aren't that great. Now I am looking foward to the Killzone 3 demo.

I am enjoying the demo a lot. Personally I don't have a problem with the controls. As far as graphics go it's one of the best looking console games right now, if not THE best. The funny thing is that this is just the beta. Can't wait to see how the single player campaign looks when the game finally ships.
