Your Personal GOTY?

So, a lot of good games have been released this year. All the systems had some good games. So whats YOUR favorite one? Doesnt matter what others think about the game, or what score it got. Heres my picks

360 GOTY- Warriors Orochi 2. I dont care If it got a 4 from GS, the game is pure fanservice and the review sucked anyway. With over 90 characters, I think I'll be playing this one well into 2010

PS3 GOTY- Metal Gear Solid 4. A pure masterpiece, and unlike the other AAAA game this gen this one deserved its rating. People complained about cutscenes, but I liked watching them. Amazing all around

Wii GOTY- No More Heroes. Wow, this was one cool game! Very original and hilarious, I'd recomend this to any gamer, As it alone kept my purchase of a wii justified in the first quarter of 2008

DS GOTY- Chrono Trigger. It might be a really old game remade, but even so, this was the best handheld game of the year, and one of the best rpgs ever created.

PSP GOTY- Bleach Heat the Soul 5. Yes its an import, but it is simply a stunning game, even my friends who hate anime love to play this. The best anime fighter since Budokai 3

PS2 GOTY- Shin Megami Tensei Persona 4. The PS2 refuses to die, and as long as games like this are coming out I will be supporting it. A simply stunning game and probably the last great ps2 game. Its a shame so many people will miss it since its coming so late in the Ps2's life, and its also a shame that GS likes to gives sequels a lower score than its predessecer, as this game deserves no lower than a 9.5

My overall GOTY is Persona 4, its funny how the best is on an old system :P. Anyway sorry if this was a little long, hope it was at least a decent read

PS2 - Persona 3, the only reason I dusted off my PS2 in the first place this year

360 - Eternal Sonata, but I sold my 360 after it kept giving me disc read errors. No RROD, and would only function when I tried to show people it didn't.

PS3 - Valkyria Chronicles

PC - Fallout 3, and it'll get so much better once the mods start rolling in.

Call of Duty: World at War, don't listen to the haters this game is awesome, better than Cod4.kamikaze-jk

I thought that the presentation of the single player story was done better. Nice game.

On another note my personal game of the year is Gears Of War 2.

All systems, even if I haven't played the every game, I'd say:

360 - Gears of War 2
PS3 - Metal Gear Solid 4
Wii - Smash Bros Brawl
DS - The World Ends With You
PSP - God of War: CoO

Overall: Gears of War 2

Xbox 360: Fallout 3 (followed closely by GeoW2)

PS3: Dead Space (In all fairness I have not played MGS4 or Little Big Planet)

Blu-Ray: Batman: Dark Knight (followed by Iron Man and then The Hulk, all three are great but Batman is the definative blu-ray movie now edging out Kingdom of Heaven)

Xbox 360 - Saints Row 2, it's the sandbox game we all deserved after gta iv caused us all to fall asleep.

Ps3 - Valkyrie Chronicles, the best SRPG in a long, long time.

PC - Mass Effect, my x360 GOTY for 2007, is now my most played PC game.

Ps2 - Persona 3: FES, haven't tried 4 yet, but, FES was simply put, one of the greatest RPGs ever created, even if it was just 3 with some fancy add ons.

Wii - Tales Of Symphonia: Dawn Of The New World, underrated to the extreme, but, a nice bit of fan service for us "Tales Of" faithful.

Overall - Valkyrie Chronicles, I LOVE SRPGs, and it's been a long, long time (since disgaea 1 I'd say), since an SRPG has hooked me this hard, my 360 has turned from "most played" to "biggest dust heap" since it came out.

Xbox 360: Fallout 3 (followed closely by GeoW2)

Xbox 360: Gears of War 2 - A true TPS masterpiece that improved on the original. A single player campaign I'll remember for years to come. Gorgeous unique environments and great gameplay. One of a kind.

PS3: LittleBIGPlanet - A game that is so unique and charming, so fun and adorable -- LittleBIGPlanet deserves to be ine very PS3 gamers library, well ahead of MGS4.

Wii: Wario Land: Shake It! - For the Wii, I was going to choose No More Heroes, but despite how much I love the game, some of its design decisions weren't GOTY worthy, so I chose Shake It! A truly magnificent old school 2D platformer with great level design. It's incredibly overlooked, too.

PC: The Witcher Enhanced Edition - The most mature and dark RPG I've played in a long time. Not only did it keep me up at night, but it kept me wanting more in the daytime.

PSP: WipeOut Pulse - Handheld gaming crack.

DS: Chrono Trigger DS - A classic is reborn and it's better than ever.

Multiplat (can't trim it down to one) (Also, scores do not apply. These are what I enjoyed the most.) : Sonic Unleashed, Left 4 Dead, GTA IV, Mirror's Edge, Dark Sector, Golden Axe: Beast Rider, Dead Space, Silent Hill: Homecoming, Saints Row 2, Fallout 3.

Fallout 3, closely followed by Dead Space.
