I haven't really experience much sad moments in game. Nothing that sticked to me at least.

Same. Some people consider Shadow of the Colosssus ending sad. I didn't really.

Left 4 dead when all the survivors had died except for Louis and he was limping towards the safe house black and white in critical health. Forgot what he siad but just looked so sad and pathetic in that moment.

The time when I played WoW and I lost a duel some rogue (I had just reached lvl 70 and he was in gladiator gear). His friend would then proceed to slander me in Trade Chat in an attempt to ruin my reputation and get me kicked out of my guild. A few people listened to his friend and would proceed to verbally harass me telling me to commit sucide.

What is saddening about this is that all this anger and hostility just because I beat him in the team battle before. Saddening how someone could take WoW THAT seriously.

Nier ending B, C, and D. **** that game's depressing, but oh so good.

Also when I lost my best soldier in X-Com Terror From the Deep and my last save was like 2 hours ago, that was pretty sad.

I would have said MGS3 ending, but not at all actually, i think it was truly epic.

Anyway, for me, i think is the ending of Zelda OoT, i just felt a lot of nostalgia, and the final scene leaves you wonder what's going to happen, even to this day i still feel a lot of nostalgia watching this endind.

FFX has great sad moments (this is a weird phrase lol).

That whole game was just sad. Though the ending really takes the cake for that game. Shame it never was localized to the west. Speaking of unlocalized Nintendo games the end of Chapter 5 in Fire Emblem 4 was also really tragic.

[spoiler] Your entire party got massacred and the protagonist got killed. Furthermore, the music, made the event even sadder. The music were remixes of previous songs you heard throughout the game, only in a very depressing tone. [/spoiler]

The end of Silent Hill shattered Memories. You have no soul if you played it and said you felt nothing for what happened. Also, the ending to Wind Waker made me cry when I was younger.

Also, I recently played some Majora's Mask and I purposley let the moon fall. I can honestly say that I felt a tinge of saddness watching that world get wiped out.

Actually it was on the original 64. I was over at a friend's house and we didn't have any other of his game systems besides the 64 so we played that. But yeah you should definitley get a Wii and download Majora's Mask ASAP. Best game ever, to me.

Actually it was on the original 64. I was over at a friend's house and we didn't have any other of his game systems besides the 64 so we played that. But yeah you should definitley get a Wii and download Majora's Mask ASAP. Best game ever, to me.

i know what you mean. I HATE cliffhanger endings like that.

Has to be this for me. I literally had to stop playing, and start going over pros and cons of each in my head :P. As always, the chance of "gettin some" wins out :lol:

Not counting visual novels, it would be moments from Valkyrie profiles and Witcher.

To me, both of them capture the feels of classic fairy tales that ended up in tragedy, yet not overdramatic.

Also the revealed truth in suikoden 5.
