1. Wind Waker

As a sequel to Majora's Mask?
I'm forced to agree. I probably would have been disappointed had I not been 10 years old.
They're two very different games. No game with as much soul and charm and beauty as Wind Waker can be disappointing. It's one of the few times when I've felt absolutely connected with the game world, and almost no game ever has moved me as much as it did.Majora's Mask was outstanding for its characterization and charm, and for one of the most ingenious gameplay mechanics in history. Wind Waker, on the other hand... it was something else entirely, it was a more human game.
I suppose if you were expecting more in the vein of MM, it might be construed as disappointing, I never did, however, I went into it expecting nothing but more Zelda, and it delivered.
A recent playthrough of all 3D Zelda games in anticipation of Skyward Sword propelled Wind Waker to the best of series status for me. The game is flat out incredible, that god damn Triforce Quest notwithstanding.

TBH, I just think WW is one of those games that actually got better over time. Back in the day a game like WW would be scrutinized for various reasons. I mean, it was 2002(?). Thats when the industry was really starting to expand its adult audience and when Halo was the main thing. Now that that period is over, a game like Wind Waker can be much more appreciated for it's originality, charm and beauty. I just think it released at the wrong time. The only other game I'd say that has a similar disposition would me MP2. Can't think of anything else.

This is true. When I first played it, I cried and I liked it, but ultimately found it the weakest 3D Zelda game till then. Over time, the more I play it, the more I loved it. Wind Waker wasahead of its time. it recognized the catch and futility in pursuing photorealism long before any other game did, and it managed to avoid aging as badly as realistic games usually do. It was also the first indication of the non graphics focused direction that Nintendo wanted to take.1- crazy taxi 3....2-crazy taxi 3...3- crazy taxi 3spiderluckYour avatar just reminded me, Crackdown 2 was quite the disappointment as well.
1, Mass effect 2 (i still can believe everyone love that one when it just a sucky tps with sucky rpg elements when the first one was at least a good rpg)
2. modern warfare 2 (the beginning of the fall of call of duty)
3.MGS4 (how did it got 10/10 when even the 2nd one was better ????)

I haven't played the first 2, but I highly enjoy MvC 3 very much. Great roster, awesome online (I get destroyed all the time) and easy achievies. I only picked it up for like 5 bucks online though, so I wasn't hyping it much.
well for me the problems were mainly the cast/amount of. i think it came with like mid 20-30 characters whereas mvc2 had like 52 also.. the characters that they did decide to put in the game like x23, she hulk :| , nathan spencer and excluding guys like venom and gambit and thanosIt had 38, ultimate had 50. Unlike MVC2, everybody is 100% unique. On top of that half the class were clones of one another. iron man = war machine woverine = bone wolverine = sabertooth, ect.
to be fair.

i dont care if they were clones...they had different moves at the very least. ryu/ken/akuma may have similar moves but they work differently, also they have different supers. My point is... she-hulk.... adding nobodies instead of well known popular characters like venom.[QUOTE="UnrealLegend"]

Crysis 2 is the shlz-whiz
Okay, it's decent game in reality. But given that the original Crysis was one of my favourite games ever, I don't see how I could not be disappointed in the sequel.
You're trolling.
1) Metal Gear Solid 3. The series had finally dropped its stupid macho pretense by replacing the unoriginal hack job known as Snake and MGS1 with the well-written Raiden and MGS2 but now it's starring stupid Snake again and set in the past and a jungle instead of cramped modern day corridors.TheFallenDemon
Mass effect 3 (this game just sucks ...2 was much better and 1 still the best)shadiezz2012My lord no. 2 is sh!t and didn't even need to exist beyond introducing the cameo appearances in ME3. ME had a great first impression, but ME3 is leaps and bounds the greater game (granted, I am only 15 hours in). After playing what I have of 3, I find it hard to take anyone who thinks the first game is the "best" seriously. It was a prototype for the series, rough edges around every corner and a lot of "I wonder what this might be like?" content. ME3 has a high level of cohesion to the world and characters. It feels alive, rather than just a game. Sure, the RPG elements were more fleshed out in the first game, but it didn't have a plethora of unique content with high level directing. It was just a bunch of dialogue mixed with monotonous action sequences. Other than the N7 missions, I have yet to come across a similar gameplay sequence in ME3. Everything has been unique and extremely memorable. All I can remember from the first game is the main story, and even then, it is just the major elements. I don't miss the Mako exploration anymore either. The places in ME2 were boring as sh!t and did nothing to help the loss of the Mako... but ME3 has pushed the series to focus on story and characters, and I think that has been a choice for the better. ME2 was a hiccup, trying to change too much too quickly, but ME3 really brings back that feeling of urgency and involvement with the characters I felt when first playing ME. I'm even enjoying Vega's presence on the crew, some of his comments are downright hilarious.

What are you talking about? ME2 literally makes ME3 as good as it is. ME2 was all about the characters, the main storyline focused on stopped the collectors and honestly Arrival is the true ending to ME3. You can ignore the entire game's main storyline but play arrival and everything will be linked to 3. Beyond that ME2 has way better character interaction than 3, and gives really good insight on the all the characters trials and tribulations along with their backstories. You know what, when you finish ME3, go and restart it, but don't import a save game file and tell me how much you like it then.
Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts
They've replaced all jump and run parts by this stupid playmobile/lego cars and even more ridicilous tuning parts....
OMG Rareware, what have you done?
Final Fantasy 7
Altough many people will hate me now, I say FF7 was the absolutly downfall of the series.I mean look at those characters, Cloud with his freaky hairs, his earring and his muscle shirt. He looks like a mix of a punk and emo boy
Then Sephiroth, to be honestly, does everyone thinking he is a serious FF boss?Look at him, this boy, his witch face and his overlong hairs....a transvestite called Sephiroth
And by the way, has anyone ever noticed that the promised matearia system is the same a in FF6, anywhere? It has been renamed from Esper to Materia, lol and everyone believe it was a completly new thing.Well done Square Enix.....
Resident Evil 4
Gameplay is the following:
Select a gun, kill 15 enemys, upgrade your gun, take some herbs, push a button, rotating a wheel, kill 7 enemys etc.
I'm of the opinion, this game was extremly overhyped.Everyone said at the time:"Oh a new Resident Evil game in 3rd person view"
If the word "Resident Evil" wouldn't stay on the cover, then I'm sure this game would get significantly worse scores
