Your top 5 TPS games!

I always see a lot of "list ur fav FPSz!" but rarely one about TPS (a genra that's better!). And in no way did I make this thread for the sole purpose of running my mouth off about Vanquish, even though I probably am going to.

1. Resident Evil 4 - greatest game ever made

2. Vanquish - epic masterpiece, makes most other shooters feel slow and uneventful.

3. Gears of War - It's Gears, baby :D

4. Dead to Rights, the ORIGINAL. Yeah that's right. It may have been a Max Payne ripoff but damit it was the best Max Payne rip off.

5. Dead Space - atmosphere and dismemberment :D

Honorable mention: Syphon Filter - It's a piece of crap, but it's the game that got me into TPS so it deserves some love.

I might change some in a bit. I have a feeling that others are gonna come to mind and I'm gonna feel like a moron for not adding them.

GRAW had the best third-person mechanics, every other TPS just feels clunky in comparison.

If I considered the MGS games as TPS, my list would look a lot different.

1. Uncharted 2
2. Metal Gear Solid 4 (I consider it TPS more than anything else)
3. Resident Evil 4
4. Uncharted
5. Metal Gear Solid 3 (Again to me its more of a TPS than anything else)

I have not played Mass Effect yet (getting it on PC soon) so that might change the list, but it will take alot, as these games are mind blowing to me :P.

1. Max Payne 2... people really under appreciated this game but it was epiiiicccc

3. R6 Vegas

4. Uncharted 2

5. Max Payne 1

1. Resident Evil 4 - Not a pure TPS, but whatever. This game was far more than the sum of it's parts. Poor controls, poor shooting, and ****ing quick time events. Yet it still makes number 1 on my list.
2. Gears of War series - Gears 1 is my favorite multiplayer shooter to date, and 2 had a great campaign (with the exception of Dom).
3. Mass Effect 2 - Also not a pure TPS, but yo, it's Mass Effect 2.
4. Vanquish - The definition of a one-and-done game. It has some serious issues, but it was a great ride overall.
5. GRAW - because I couldn't think of anything else.

That's what I figured, but I wasn't sure which is why I said I cant tell if its a joke :P. Oh yeah, or having multiple tabs open and posting in the wrong one. Done that a few times.

It´s Quantic Dream´s first game,way diferent from the QTE based stuff they´ve done more recently with FH and HR. If you ever try it,just disregard the reviews,that game is amazing and revolutionary in many ways.

Instead of specific games, my favourite TPS series:

1. Gears of War
2. Dead Space
3. Uncharted
4. Vanquish
5. Resident Evil

I don't think ME should be included in this category.
