Hell yeah. If I can find a cheap copy on ebay I might just buy it up in a heart beat. And NIER, I don't know what it is about that game but I'm deeply fascinated by it for some reason. I listend to some of it's music on youtube and holy ****, I was tempted to buy it just for the soundtracks :lol:

I wouldn't consider the Mass Effect games TPS, or even GTA games for that matter. The games I listed are more focused on running and gunning as opposed to talking/driving/etc. In the same way Fallout games aren't FPS.

And that's pretty much it. There would be more, but I don't consider RDR, GTA, inFamous or Just Cause 2 to be TPS games.

1) Geow series (just awesome games.. cant wait for Geow3)

2) Socom Series (its Socom, i even enjoyed Confrontation)

3) Army of Two series (I know many think they're crap, but me & my friend just love the games.. co-op is great)

4) Warhawk (still one of the best PS3 mp game)

5) Vanquish (fast,frentic & stylish..)

(PS. I dont consider MGS4 & Uncharted series as TPS games otherwise they would have been on the list too)

The only thing I know for sure is that Vanquish is at the very bottom of that list.

1. Resident Evil 4 - Not a pure TPS, but whatever. This game was far more than the sum of it's parts. Poor controls, poor shooting, and ****ing quick time events. Yet it still makes number 1 on my list.

I don't understand this. I really didn't like the game for exactly the reasons you specified.

2. James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing

3. Mercenaries

4. PSI-OPS: The Mindgate Conspiracy

5. Freedom Fighters

I almost put the original Syphon Filter for PS1, but that game hasn't aged well. Still a good game though.

My number one so far is Hitman Blood Money, followed by Heretic II, Dead Space, Mass Effect 2, Mafia 1 and I'm guessing Dead Space 2 will join the list very soon...

Strictly shooters, left out RPGs and sandbox games.

1. Uncharted 2: Pretty much the perfect TPS in my eyes. Long, epic SP and awesome MP. This game raised the bar for the action / adventure genre.
2. Red Dead Redemption: Last year's GOTY is also one of my new favorite games of all time. Beloved for the same reasons above.
3. inFamous: Not really sure if this one counts, but it's also one of my favorite open world games. Awesome powers and great "shooting" mechanics.
4. Dead Space: Now on my second playthrough I'm looking even more forward to DS2. Intense action and the creepiest atmosphere since Rapture.
5. Not sure I have a 5th. Mafia 2 was fun, but not worth a Top 5 mention to me. I can see Uncharted 3, Dead Space 2, L.A. Noire, or SOCOM 4 ending up on this list though. Only time will tell.
