I have a funny feeling we may have to pay for actual demos of certain games in about 5 years from most game developers if a service like EA access becomes popular.

Wahey it's the lostrib and b4x show again...
Although, I feel he went way over the line on this one...

Hey, internet tough guy, how about you tell us the specs on your gaming PC before calling people out over a $400 plastic box with the specs of a five year old laptop?
When I got my X1 I passed on picking up madden or battlefield4 and getting Peggle 2 is a plus. So for me spending $30 and getting all that plus the trials, demos and 10% off its a no brainer for me to sign up for a year and see how it goes.
I do agree with @Solid Ty I think it will hurt their sports sales people will just be content with what's in the vault and play the next year's version if it comes to the vault.
Ok so I just downloaded it it's a free download then you can sign up. Vault has Battlefield4, madden 25, Fifa14, and Peggle2(all of which I don't own or have played). 10% off EA digital purchases including DLC. Play EA games 5 days before the release date for a limited time. So yeah its a go for me $30 well spent and if I get to try games like Star Wars Battlefront, the next Titanfall, and The new Battlefield I'll continue the service if it's not what they said and it doesn't deliver I can drop it....aw the beauty of choice ;)

funny how you refer to them as 5 year old pastic boxes... yet you have a weird fetish for the ps4.
Any of you weirdo's that have an emotional attachment to a particular console should get checked out. You shouldn't love pieces of metal and plastic as much as you do.
I know. This douche bragging about pirating though. /sigh
Cry much? How bout you post some gifs tough guy.
Careful, last time someone called him a tough guy he went all crazy
I called him a sad little man and he went all crazy.......
It sure seems to be a gift to the community of sorts. Both microsoft and EA could use some redeeming in the eyes of the public. A pretty good service like this is a win-win all around.
@clone01: He seems to be angry at everyone. He called me Bias cause I have a KZ avatar, and also I said only fanboys would believe AC Unity will 720p in another thread lol.
Don't worry, cows, you don't need a demo to figure out what the next identikit Madden game will be like. Let the lems be milked like the true cows they are.
You say this like any lems have signed up for it. Yeah, Sony knows what you guys value best. 2.99 for 4 hours of a game. Great value that PSNow
Implying I have any interest in PS Now either.
Funny how lems can only defend Access in relation to Now.
Eh. EA is going to do what EA is going to do. If they really wanted to put the screws to Sony for not adopting EA Access they would withhold Titanfall 2 and the majority of their releases for PS4.
Okay forum warrior.

Do you have a WiiU?
Sooooo... Let me see if I understand this correctly;
A lot of you people, who are justifying the EA access, are convinced it's a good value because you get access to demos? DEMOS??? Those little "snippets" of games that used to be free? And now you people are paying for them and it's somehow become a "value" because, Sony turned it down and it's only available on Xbox ... Right?
EA, once again, putting their content behind a wall (of some sorts) and you people are somehow satisfied with this (all of a sudden) because it's only available on Xbox One; because you want to be "pro-xbox" and "anti-Sony", you people are willing to allow this horrible company to (once again), leave a bag of burning sh** on your door step, for you to step on...
I'm actually glad Sony turned it down because, at least they had enough common sense to realize the "slippery slop" this EA access is presenting gamers... Just like how cable TV already have us paying subscriptions for HBO and Cinemax, when I already spend money on just having cable in my house. In order to watch Game of Thrones, I have to pay my cable company hundreds of dollars to keep my cable on and then add HBO's subscription fees to that, comes out to be very expensive. I guess the Xbox One truly is a "cable box"; Charge me for the console, XBL, the games, and (now) EA Access... Which is a step away from being EA "ONLY" Access!!!
Now, we got EA, wanting to charge a subscription for a service just to be able to play game Demos that used to be free; and pretty soon (if this thing is successful) will only sell it's games through this service; Look, I know we're heading towards an all digital future with games and I have no problem with that but, just like disc, so will be gone the days of actually being able to pay for your game once and actually owning it... This is just more DRM bullcrap and it's no wonder Microsoft was so willing to do.
And behold, Activision wants in too!
Man console gaming is so amazing! 60 for xbox live, 60 if you have a ps4 and want to go PS+, 30 for EA's ransom for content they hold hostage, and 30 more if activision starts their own, console gamers will blow up to 180 dollars a year just to play online... SUCH VALUE!
Edit: Can't wait for Ubisoft to want in on this too and introduced a paid subscription for their craptastic Uplay!
Already some games have download codes and if you don't have one you can buy one! Which seems to be the new way that developers force gamers to buy games at full price and stop pre owned games.
It's not surprising that Nintendo is no where near this crap. Microsoft and Sony just want to rape gamers of their money. Nintendo is by far the most gamer friendly platform. Hardly surprising since they are only a video game hardware and software company. Nintendo is busy innovating games and gimmicks and sony and microsoft are busy coming up with new subscriptions.
@wiiboxstation: Yeah, Nintendo is so "gamer friendly" that they've lost 95% of all third party support, have no real online community, and continue to re-release rehashed games and characters from previous generations of their platforms; Mario, Zelda, and Donkey Kong...
