Miyamoto reportedlysaid that, since it's been 10 years since his last original character creation, Captain Olimar and the Pikmin of... Pikmin, he'd like to create someone new. 8)

A game regarding gardens sounds like it would be terrible, but Pikmin came out great. I have no doubt it will be the same thing for a game regarding swimming.

We have already seen a new miyamoto IP this gen. Myself I just hope this does not get in the way of him making more sequels. I for one want more sequels to the Nintendo games I grew up playing. HarlockJC
