No, they didn't, they don't even acknowledge them. They just had to license the characters to Philips because of the fallout of a deal they had with them (a deal which incidentally led to Sony making the Playstation. But that's another story).[QUOTE="AtariKidX"][QUOTE="charizard1605"] It was an awful, awful game on the CDi. Yes, PS2, PS3, PSP and PS Vita. And because of the PS2, we have the Xbox 360. It's funny how things work out, isn't it? :P[QUOTE="AtariKidX"][QUOTE="charizard1605"] No, they didn't, they don't even acknowledge them. Well, they are actually talking about an all new Zelda game for the 3DS already (in addition to the Majora's Mask 3DS remake). As for Metroid, I hope for Metroid Dread very badly (or a Super Metroid remake... like those Super Metroid HD screenshots you posted some time ago)........and because of the Nintendo today we have the PS2&PS3.:P

And as for that, it's simple- Microsoft was afraid of Sony's monopoly in console gaming, so it decided to back the Dreamcast by providing Windows as the primary OS for the Dreamcast. When Dreamcast looked all set to fail because of the PS2's massive hype, Microsoft decided to develop its own console, the Xbox, which eventually led to the Xbox 360.

I see.......anyway i can't wait to play the new Zelda game on the Wii.majora's mask be teh overratedzz i guess it's cool for hipster kids to like it over OoT and wind waker. too mainstream B{/BrunoBRSOr you know, maybe because it had an original and daring design with near-perfect execution, as well as a profoundly dark atmosphere with a surprisingly powerful story and narrative.
All rolled into one.

MM was my favorite game before it was cool.
"Only posts that name three games will be counted. Posts that name less than three games will be disregarded."
What if you don't think there are 3 good Zelda games to pick? Just saying...
Anyway. 1-Link to th Past. 2-The Legend of Zelda. 3-ehhh... I guess Occarina of Time.

First of all, everything you just said and more could be said about Ocarina Of Time, only Ocarina of Time came first. Majora's Mask wouldn't even exist if it weren't for Ocarina Of Time. Majora's Mask was more of a spin-off of OOT than anything. Second of all, the VAST majority of Majora's Mask's graphics, sounds, enemies, items, and overall design was copy and pasted right from Ocarina Of Time. I wouldn't call Majora's Mask design "original and daring". The only truly original parts of the game were having to go back in time over and over(which got annoying at times) and the mask system which was pretty awesome. And I'm not even sure if I would call the whole "going back in time over and over again" concept truly original. The idea was clearly influenced by the movie Groundhog Day.Overall
1) ALttP
2) TP
3) OoS
It's the only Zelda game with no flaw + does everything a Zelda game should do really really well. It's pure. What I mean by this is there's no dead overworld (TP), tedious exploration process as it requires you to re-kill bosses over and over (MM), train/boat rides which, although not "awful", equates to less replayability imo (WW/PH/ST). And others like Minish Cap don't have that amazing dungeon design, etc.
TP second for having the best temple design of the entire series, despite a boring overworld with bad design.
WW/PH/ST/SS islands i.e. not interconnected world >>> road-block infested TP overworld. OoT and MM does an interconnected world really well, it's at least not a messy cluster**** despite including road blocks which kills the idea of an interconnected world, it makes more sense to make it level based with back-tracking elements if it's linear anyway.
Link to the Past is the best Zelda game of all time. Any results to the contrary are garbage.
