Here it is! The newest top down Zelda game reviewed.... Sounds like a total delight. 9/10... Who's eating good this week?

I won't be playing it at release. But will get it for the Switch 2 next year probably. God dam I'm going to have a crap ton of games to play on that system at release. I haven't even played TOTK yet.

Better than expected ... nice to see Nintendo is still doing what they do best ... crafting charm and fun experiences. Probably won't get it anytime soon but any fan of the saga should be happy with this.

It's the Nintendo magic. Really hope Metroid Prime 4 does just as well and runs at 60fps.

Might try it out in the future.

That's about what I expected. I'm looking forward to playing it.

Not a huge fan of the art style, same goes for the LttP remake. Too shiny. Little disappointed to hear Zelda's leading role didn't have much of an impact, but I will see what that is about when I play it.

At least it will might better on my overclocked Switch 😅

Played about an hour or 2 so far, and really loving it. The echo mechanic is cool... can't wait to play more!

I like it but I don't love it.....just yet.

From the first hour or so, it feels like a smaller version of BOTW or TOTK with how quests are marked, enemies, etc...,

I just received Echos of Wisdom in the mail a few hours ago with the diorama due to pre-ordering the game at Best Buy.

@onesiphorus: That's cool! I also felt the Paper Mario diorama was very nicely done.

Looks pretty fun.

Too bad about the framedrops though. I was hoping they learned what not to do after Link's Awakening's bad performance, but I guess not then.

Looks great, I am sad they never put voice acting in their games. Takes away from the charm.

My little girls Nintendo Switch died.

I just ordered a PS5 Pro, I may just give my daugher my OG PS5 and call it a day. Some real bullshit, I bought her Switch 2022 2 years after my PS5 and it's already dead.

POS was the "new" $350 oled too, Nintendo is one cheap skate company.

The last piece of hardware I've had die on be before a generation finished was Xbox 360. Not rewarding Nintendo with more money for cheap built hardware.

I'm not saying it's a bad game, but Nintendo could take a dump in a box and label it Zelda and it would get a minimum of an 8 these days.

Nintendo is only one making fun games in 2024.

So, a shitty frame rate, and game breaking bugs still get a 9 🤦‍♂️

To be fair Nintendo could do that with any of its franchises, the bias in favour of Nintendo is disgusting 🤮

Seen some reviews and gameplay it's not my kind of Zelda game but I could have guessed how it would review.

Giving it a numerical score, at 1/4 or so into it, would be premature. The game is enjoyable and offers an eclectic variety of things to do but the rift closing seems to be the same thing over and over again and sometimes the formula gets tiring. Overall though, it's an interesting approach to play what feels like a highly detailed diorama.

After coming from the open Zelda games and seeing my kids play this, Nintendo really needs to be hammered on item management in these games. Why is there no option for macros or something similar to save sets in so you don't have to scroll through all the equip in the open Zelda games or copied "shadows" in this game? It gets really tedious.

I would say other than the Joycon drift issues Switch is a fine piece of hardware and built well. I've put hundreds of hours into mine since May of 2017 and it isn't showing any signs of giving out soon.

@templecow90999: My Switch's fan broke, and I had to send it in for repair, and pay for it. Both of my joycons started to drift, had to send them in too and pay for that too. My friend who has a Switch had the exact same problems as me.

Switch is probably the worst built Nintendo system I have ever owned.

Wii was cheap plasticy feeling and continuously broke down with usage too, but Switch is on another level. They really dropped the hardware quality after the GameCube and still haven't picked it up.
