Mind showing me how it's flawed? I see it as perfectly fitting. Technology advances are not directly proportional with the quality and the "fun" factor all games have. And comparing two totally different games with two completely similar products (in your case cars) is just wrongPeople are comparing one game to another. I'm comparaing one car to another. I really don't see a difference, but anyways...I see what you mean about the genre being different. But really, a VW bug is as different from an Accord '11 as CoD is from Zelda.[QUOTE="Rekunta"][QUOTE="JuarN18"] that analogy is flawless! it perfectly exemplified both zelda and call of duty! /sarcasmJuarN18
And it's true, a game's fun factor and quality is not entirely contingent on technology, but continuing a formula that was borne with OoT when what could be done with the technology of today just strikes me as a largely missed opportunity.
flamebait? why does this have so many responses:?gamefan67
You can insult Nintendo, you can insult the Wii.
But don't f****** mess with Zelda

Thus, all those games on the HD systems that show Nintendo how Zelda should be done. Like ?

I'm sorry, what exactly are you asking?flamebait? why does this have so many responses:?gamefan67agreed. this thread is useless. we're lucky to get a console zelda twica a decade, yet it's being rehashed? yeah ok. if u said mario, i still wouldn't have agreed, but i could understand that more than zelda. i'll happily wait for the rehash this fall.

Too bad I agree with this topic :(
I lost interest in Zelda after Wind Waker. It was just the same thing OVER and OVER again.

Well a small fraction of people will agree with the TC but that just means youare just wrong and agree with someone who is wrong.Thats it, nothing else.
I would like to say that while I do agree with alot of the people in terms of Zelda games not being rehashed I also don't really believe Call of Duty games are either. Like Zelda each campaign is a new and different story, often times they includes some new weapons and minor new mechanics or gameplay elements. The multiplayer is altered is some way such as how Black Ops reworked the unlock system and and tossed out death sreaks, ect.
While the changes from one Call of Duty to the next isn't quite as significant as Zelda I still wouldn't say they're just sitting on their butts, copying and pasting the last game onto new discs like some people seem to be suggesting.
Sure, some fans maybe disapointed at a lack of major change in the last few years but plenty more appear to be satisfied. Like with Zelda many people believe Call of Duty has got just about everything right and it shouldn't recieve any drastic changes.
Me personally? I've lost quite a bit of interest in both game series and I wont be purchasing either series next entry. Just because I'm not as interested or satisfied with either series does that mean they're bad or are in need of change? No. I'm not self centered enough to believe that. You people need to realise not every game needs to be catered to you. You've got your games you like, go with those. Let everyone else enjoy their Zelda and Call of Duties as they wish and you shouldn't think anything less of them for it. This is merely a hobby to most people, after all.
