Zelda Phantom Hourglass 7.5

lowest score I have seen..... interesting.... I'm still gonna give it a try, all the other reviews have been good I believe

So... you take under consideration every single review out there? I just go by GS. And I dont even care for the number, I just read what the game is all about and if it sounds like a fun game... I get it. My only real issue is value, I hate paying for something that I could have beated as a rental.

Its just interesting to me because they usually give too high of ratings if anything.... for me I go by gamerankings.

Another thing I found weird is that 1up blasted the game calling it more of the same and gave it an 8...yet they gave TP a 9.7 :|

But yeah... i would have liked some better graphics and in 720P .... but i can play those games on my 360 and PS3.

Nah. Phantom Hourglass is already better than Twilight Princess because it has the one thing that makes a Zelda game so damn special that was severely lacking in TP: exploration.Michael85

1up is blissfully ignorant and picky about their games. I never trust their reviews, heck, I hardly trust GS reviews.

Phantom Hourglass is a great game. Better than Twilight Princess, but not better than Wind Waker.

I don't really get the "it lacks Wind Waker stuff" comment... Did the guy who wrote the review actually play Phantom Hourglass? The game is a lot like Wind Waker, but at the same time very different.

I agree with the dude about the Ocean King's Temple though. That place totally sucks, and shouldn't be in the game. Nintendo could have at least taken the timer out, that would've made the place OK at best.

Phantom Hourglass is like a love letter to people who liked Wind Waker in the same sence as Twilight Princess is a love letter for those who liked Ocarina of Time. All in all, Phantom Hourglass is a great game, in fact, the best on the DS and one of the best Zelda titles.

Yeah, too bad Wind Waker was extremely painful and boring, easily the worst Zelda game to date that game was. Basically it was Ocarina of Time with sailing and not so epic boss battles and cell shaded graphics. As a diehard Zelda fan, Wind Waker was the worst in the series next to the CD-i games, at least Phantom Hourglass is a great game although it is short lived I have found.
