I don't know. ZeldaOoT was my fav game, WW was good, but TP just sucked. They keep dumbing it down, making it easier, and making it more automatic than the one before it.
I hope they make the new one harder, full control over shield, etc, and challenging puzzles without dark worlds or wolf gimmicks.
I'm so excited, I've already got my sword pointed skyward. To see it shine in the sunlight of course.Skittles_McGee
Maybe I should have you as permanent Grandmaster Lulz :P
Anyways definite Day 1 buy, Loved Twilight Princess to death. (Hence my sig) WindWaker on the other hand..... :?
I wish Nintendo would give us some more information though :x!
Imo its hard to get excited because weve barely seen anything on it. We dont really know the story, we havent seen any real levels from the game. Only brief glimpses, and what we did see wasnt exactly entirely shocking or anything. It could be awesome, and I think its going to be but I just cant get too excited quite yet

That video was shown moments after Nintendo's press conference ended at E3. Anyway, I'm interested and plan on buying the game. Maybe even pre-order depending on the situation.

This makes me think about Mega 64 on MGS Rising.
They make it sound like Skyward Sword will be a streamlined Zelda. Fried_Shrimp
When it comes to Nintendo streamlining a game means better.

Hey, me too. I am really liking the art st yle it has.i personally loved the graphics, in fact when i saw the zelda art at E3 2009 i really hoped it to be something in between wind waker and twilight princess

Thanks. Its old but i havent seen that yet. Alot of nice tidbits.
I also found this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XCTnUAWcCU&feature=related Which is another nice demonstration of how well the controls work.
Something i just noticed is it borrows the attack sound from Wind Waker. Whenever you strike an enemy theres a little sound that plays (not the actual attack sound). Thought that was a great touch in WW and glad to see it back.

How can you honestly believe this? OOT is easy, its designed so kids can play it too and I know somebody who finished it when she was 6 (which I have to admit I found impressive at the time). The reason you think they are getting easier is because you are older now and chances are better at games... Wind Waker was awesome but again it was extremely easy.
until the designers go back to the table and TOTALLY reboot Zelda back to OOT-quality, I will think of this as just another WW... its a nice update, but it can't compare to how epic OOT is...
OOT had SO much going for it... we'll see if this one can live up to that, and not just be another edition.
I know I'm coming down a little hard when I say this, but quit living in the past. Ocarina of Time was excellent and it's great to look back at classic games, I pick up my gameboy everynow and again or play a classic game on the Wii. But what's old is old. Nintendo is moving forward, and do their best to make the series evlove. If they went back to OoT it would be a step-backwards. Yes they're remaking it for 3D, but they're not going to make every Zelda game Oot. Skyward Sword will be similar to past games, in every way each game has retained key elements, but it will also be different, very different. But that's good; it's progress. I love classic games, but I plan to play SS and enjoy it for what it is, a step foward and a new adventure.
