wtf are you joking? it took me 66 hours to beat the game and i still need 6 hearts magic armor big bomb, arrow bag and more then half the bugs.it's one of my favourites games. the only gripe I have with it is that it was too short, I completed it 100% in less than 7 hours.
XenoNinja
it sucks on wii, so much unnecessary controls imomish55I thought the controls were made better on the Wii. :? Shooting was by far the best.
Lol....that game is undoubtedly the longest adventure game I've ever played in my life. Took me 70 hours. Though a lot of time was spend running around Hyrule Field and such.. And I agree with the thread starter. Twilight Princess is great. My only criticism is it being too easy .it's one of my favourites games. the only gripe I have with it is that it was too short, I completed it 100% in less than 7 hours.

[QUOTE="XenoNinja"]its impossible to beat it in 7 hours, 100%. It took me close to 50 hours to get all the heart pieces.it's one of my favourites games. the only gripe I have with it is that it was too short, I completed it 100% in less than 7 hours.

Well, maybe some of us are just better than others.
7 hours? 100% completion? There is no way I can believe that. To the topic: I completely agree. I really wouldn't be surprised if Jeff admitted that he hadn't actually played it. The storyline is nothing like that of OoT. The only similarities I can gather are the different areas and some bits of the soundtrack.it's one of my favourites games. the only gripe I have with it is that it was too short, I completed it 100% in less than 7 hours.
XenoNinja
err..are you a super human or something? It would take on average about 40-50 hours to complete everything!it's one of my favourites games. the only gripe I have with it is that it was too short, I completed it 100% in less than 7 hours.

Even if you knew exactly what you were doing, you couldn't even beat the game in that time. I've played it through four or five times now, going through everything at optimal speed (trust me, I'd have to be utilizing glitches to do it any faster), and It takes a little more than 10 hours. This is without perfection. There's literally no way you can say you've done this.It was a great game imo but I do think it deserved the great score of 8.8/10 (people seem to forget the underlined part).where would you rank it in terms of the best Zelda games?
I don't think it deserved any higher. After playing FFXII I also agree with GS' score on the game...
TP is a great game but it's not as good as OOT in my books. Nowhere near to be honest.

There is no way to beat it 100% in seven hours, even if you used the Master Sword glitch or something like that. >_>
I agree, although I do wish it had more NPC quests (Kakariko Village was ridiculously empty)True. The castle town was bustling with life though.

80% of the characters you couldn't talk to, though. It kinda felt lifeless. :(
On another note - Why all the complaints about its' graphics? Sure, some of the texturing is rough - but some of the environments were incredibly artistic and beautiful, such as Lake Hylia, the Sacred Grove, Zora's Domain and the Gerudo Desert.HeedleGlavin
Exactly - the graphics are great artistically, but not so great technically.

Yep but it still is what it is.

Lol, I wouldn't be that good....it was on my second try.
You got all 60 Poes, all the bugs, enought money to get the magic armour and got every heart piece, bomb bag, bottle and did every dungeon in 7 hours?
I doubt thats possible with the amount of time some things take even if you know what your doing.

i just got my wii last week, and bought zelda and that surgery game with it. i think zelda tp is just as brilliant designed as the previous ones. its kinda dumb to take off points just because the game has some similiarities with the last zelda games. afterall, its a "zelda" game. its just like same as saying Halo 3 sucks because it uses the same plasma gun and master chief's uniform is still green.
