Space Marine Link Confirmed.. Its just not a Video game anymore if your not in space or fighting alliens..heck even mario is in Space now!

You do realize in the first 2 Metal Gear Solid games Snake didn't have a stache right? Just throwing this out there but the fourth one was when Snake started sporting the stache I believe.

I interpreted that statement more as some kind of gameplay mechanic or story element. I hardly think a Zelda with a swordless Link would be released.

It could also mean, sadly, that they are going to give him magic or some BS. If they turn link into Merlin or do some other dumb thing to ruin the series, I'm not just done with Zelda, but also Nintendo. I'm sure he was just pointing something out to get us talking about the game though.

yup it is. this is the picture that was spread around on different, smaller sites. "Link is said to be older then he has ever been standing looking away from the Camera and standing with a small girl in a blue dress."

I could see N turning Zelda more into a FP Adventure. When your health is completly full, you have the ability to shoot your sword like a gun at enemies, like in Old Skool Zelda and recent GBA and DS games.

In the interview, it said Link is probably going to be an adult, or near adulthood. Well i think its going to be weird with an adult wearing tights and a green tunic.

if link is going to be an adult, expect a huge adjustment in his clothes.

Yeah...and it is optional. So you get to play the game. :|

It has been mentioned some of the overall gameplay will play alike the swordplay in WiiSports Resort.
Now he hints that Link is not pictured with a sword.
Swordplay without a sword... hmm.

I am facepalming at these posts. Imagine if the concept art was like this:
