the meat of the game isn't sword play, I mean I can't imagine using wiimotion plus on every moblin. Zelda is more about exploring anyway. What wiimotionplus can do is make for some intense battles with bosses and major enemies, like those famous skeleton swordsmen in OoTGunSmith1_basicI really hope there's some smart implementation in puzzles. I have zero interest in M+ swordfighting.

I completley understand.
Finally. I'll give Nintendo the benifit of the doubt since I'm curious to see what they come up with. They better deliver though, because if not, I'm done with Zelda.
Hopefully they'll listen less to what the fan-base has to say and proceed in doing their thing--sometimes people just don't know what they want; so, Nintendo, surprise me :). Examples like dropping the art-style of WW towards the handheld games because of all the winning showed very little backbone from their part.
All I would ask from them is to take a risk and to use the technology at their disposal in interesting ways, imo, the series definitely needs it.
when we gonna get some other nintendo games from nintendo this gen it's all been zelda, mario, and metroid

It's pretty much a lock that we will be using motion controls for swordplay in the new Zelda, especially considering that twilight princess tried to do this but the limits of the wiimote kept it as a tacked on feature. I can't even imagine what wiimotionplus would add to puzzles
Is that because those are the only games that you have taken notice of? Anyway, this is good news and if Zelda does release this year Nintendo will win 2010 imo. No More Heroes 2 and Zelda Wii in the same year!?! A gift from the gods of gaming:Dwhen we gonna get some other nintendo games from nintendo this gen it's all been zelda, mario, and metroid

Imagine playing Wind Waker, using the Wiimote as the conducter's baton. Perhaps Link will get a puzzle item along those lines?
[QUOTE="HoolaHoopMan"]Well lets hope it's better than that huge let down called TP.Mario1331
reely TP is not that bad how everybody make it seem aint it above 90% on metacritic and those type of sites
don't worry TP has a lot of fans on this board, myself included[QUOTE="Mario1331"][QUOTE="HoolaHoopMan"]Well lets hope it's better than that huge let down called TP.GunSmith1_basic

Now that i think of it, We've been getting new Zelda info about every week. It wouldn't surprise me if Nintendo showed it soon....before E3. They never said they would1st showit at E3. They just said it would make a presence there.
This also makes me think about one of the most underrated Series' ever....Pikmin. I want NPC Pikmin 2 (i loved # 1, just need # 2), and Nintendo has said nothing aboutPikmin 3and no one cares :( I guess it doesn't stand any change at all to Zelda. They will probably be released around the same time.
The NPC games were a knee jerk response to the fact that Nintendo left an openning in their lineup for third parties, and third parties opted not to take the oppurtunity. I think they have stated since that there wont be any more NPC games, unfortunately. Pikmin 2 is really expensive here, and I would love to play it. Im looking forward to M+ sword fighting. Rumour has it that sword fighting has become more strategic and puzzle like, leading me to believe that enemies will have to be pondered over before attacking. Im hoping for more puzzles, less glowing spots. :DNow that i think of it, We've been getting new Zelda info about every week. It wouldn't surprise me if Nintendo showed it soon....before E3. How is it going to make Zelda better? Me not using M+ means nothing. Based off the way I have played past Zelda games how is M+ going to enhance it?[QUOTE="too_much_eslim"][QUOTE="CDUB316"]
sigh...obviously you haven't used M+ yet
CDUB316
this is NOT past zelda games
this is a zelda game that is DESIGNED for the wii and ONLY for the wii
motion controls will be in this game regardless of M+ or not
M+ makes the motion controls WAAAAAY better, 1:1
so now tell me...would you rather have gimped motion controls like in TP? or 1:1 motion like in the sword game from wii sports resort?
Yes it does. For anyone that doesn't think so, play Tiger woods and put with M+, then put without it. It's a huuuuge difference.

Pikmin 2 is basically teh same price as the NPC new one. They left a huge hole and now they decide to make a lot of games for it :?
I really hope they decide to release it. NPC Pikmin 2 was the one i wanted the most since ifirst heard of it.
Why bother? You know this game is going to be delayed and delayed until it ends up in Nintendo's next system.runbleduck
Its more possible than you think. I cant think of even any PS3/360 games that have been in development as long as Zelda Wii has been. Nintendo says they are pushing for it too. Nintendo is probably close to finished with the game by now.
