This week, Zero Punctuation reviews Prototype in a head-to-head cage match against inFamous.

It sounded like he was just stateing that there was more powers to mess around with and a goofy fun time to have with prototype.

Havn't seen the video yet (it won't load for some reason).. But I don't see how Prototype or infamous are a rip off of one or the other.. Other than it being a sandbox environment and your this powerful figure.. The games are nothing alike.. They don't even play the same.sSubZerOo

How else does 2 games with extremely similar ideas, being superhero sandbox games, gets released within weeks of each other?

Prototype will go down in history as a mimic to inFamous though, being the victim of a later release date.

Edit: Actually it's only Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

and Silent Hill 2 and Spider-Man 2. Hardly inferior titles. All have had positive reactions from critics.

In direct comparison the games were tied with Yahtzee giving the nod to inFamous. That seems to be the general conclusion between the two games and I'm ok with that even though I am enjoying Prototype more.

No. He said they ripped of each other and said that it only comes down to who thought of it first. It was amusing and I completly agree whit his takes on the games.

HAHA that was great. I guess in the end, he like both games that same. Infamous is one of the games on my "to get" list of PS3 games. Prototype i will be getting for PC (I get all multiplats on PC unless my kids want it also).

Did'nt reviewers single out the ps version as the best one (even counting the pc)? I think they did. Otherwise the idea of getting it for pc is sound.

Which was a bit generous.. At least it was more generous than they would've been towards a less recognizable brand.

At the end of the day here on GS Infamous got the better score.

Also about his bad points on Infamous:

1)Smaller map: yeah nbut then its much more detailed than Prototype, and the buildings are more interesting

2)Having to climb: is it bad that the devs took the time to add all those animations for climbing, and you can shoot any attack from any position??? No, it makes the game more believable and the devs put more work into the game...

3) less interesting attacks: well maybe... But I love the electricity. The zap power is useful, you get the sniper thing, grenades, the push thing, the jumping attack, rocket thing, there is a lot there. Plus the game gives you many options to attack.

Its good, but its not overpowered like prototypes huge arm thing...

Overall infamous is the better game, its just more thought out and it shows...

Any way you slice it, Halo Wars is still a RTS watered down to be playable on the console, doesn't even compare to PC RTS titles.
