I am predicitng a lot of damage control here and defending but most of what he said I had said when I finished it and so did many others and its all very true

Me too. His opinion isn't fact but he speaks the truth and I was annoyed at the BF3 review but the more I thought about it the more I realised he was right. Also people only have a problem with him when he disses a game they love. That's usually what happens but I for one think he is spot on.

That's the point of his reviews. To be hateful towards its flaws. But he doesn't over exaggerate things. He just focuses solely on the flaws. But he gives praise for games that deserve it

First 50 sec he was pretty much QQing about stupid stuff that wasn't even relevant to the game.

and if you think UC3 should score a 6 (thats what he thought it should be), I feel bad for you.

I enjoyed uncharted 3, but only because I ignored a lot of the nitpicking that yahtzee did. He's right in everything he says, but the game is still fun like he pointed out.

it most definitely is a good thing that uncharted is a trilogy, because I feel a 4th installment would most definitely ruin the franchise. time for naughty dog to move onto something new (and please no uncharted racing!)

Eh, I'd say he extremely over exaggerates the flaws which is why I find his reviews to be unbearable. I used to think they were funny when I thought he was just doing it to be humorous, but I've since realized that he actually means what he says. Dude seriously needs to take the stick out of his ass. In the end though, I just have a completely different mind set than he does because I can overlook flaws since I like to actually, you know, enjoy the things that I claim to enjoy.

He said that the game copies stuff from U2 which it does, They sink a boat just for the sake of it because it does nothing for the story which is also true. He doesn't over exaggerate anything. he emphasises it but doesn't exaggerate.

Also he was doing them to be funny and now its just his job to review them like this and Im sure if a game you were disappointed in got slated by him you would think it was pretty funny

Made for laughs, more than anything else. Not that I know anything about UC3, haven't played it, but I don't go to him if I want actual reviews.

Ok the hair cut I will give you but he makes good points otherwise. Why are they always attacking other races and not Americans? This is where the racism came in and because the tribe people from paradise in U2 were like black people just painted blue. And his talking about the UK is about their accuracy and how little research they might actually put into their locales. He never noticed before because he had never been to the places in games before so he didn't know. But now he knows cos london isn't done realistically and is very stereotypical because there are no red phone boxes in london anymore

They did for BF3. And I was admittedly one of them but I relaxed since and realised what he said was right. Sure he goes about it in a way that infuriates some people but to be fair most things he says are true. The only review I disagree with completely is The witcher 2 because he wasn't good enough to play it. But most other games he's spot on.

His humour is a marmite of sorts. You either love it or hate it. Most people hate him because they hate british humour and the accent. I live in Ireland so I am very much accustomed to it so I can find it funny. But if you don't find it funny that's fine, still doesn't change the fact that the bits between the humour is true

I was unaware that people took it seriously until pointed out before. Its quite clear that it's a just for fun. SOme threads of truth in it but never to be taken seriously or as a consideration to buy a game. But I don't think any reviewer should have an effect on your buys. Just a guidance if anything

I dont think he hates the game you can normally tell when he hates a game, he just stress on the faults of the game
