He is right about most the stuff but I actually liked FC2. It gave me 40 hrs or SP and for a shooter that is hard to come by. Some of the missions became boring after a while but there is something satisfying about sneaking into the fortress past enemy snipers, assassinating the target w/o alerting anyone and then planting an IED near some ammo or explosives and sneaking away only to blow everything up.

Big time pacing issues and the MP suite is hot dooky but I actually really enjoyed it. Think I might play some more tonight.

I've only played a few hours of far cry 2 but so far I really like it. To be fair though, i didn't read any of the hype about the game, so I had no expectations before hand.

I completely agree with him there.

I personally am trading in the game soon for killzone 2, I cant stand it... you drive around for 10 mins in what seems to be the same piece of land copied and pasted 1000 times to a short mission, the same as all the other missions youve done before, only to have to drive for another 10 mins to save the game, all while everyone alive wants you dead, meaning every 30 seconds you must stop and watch the same animation of your man fising the car.

how does ubisoft manage to make the ssame mistake again and again??? Assassins creed had mission problems but farcry 2 takes it to a whole new level...

Im not even going to try and complete it, its not fun, the online is horrible, downloading other peoples shoddy maps takes longer than the average game lasts, it sucks...

I agree with everything you say, except I thought the online was average, not horrible. I still play the game even with all these problems, I kinda like it for reasons I can't put my finger on.

The graphics were pretty bad also... well on the 360 version anyway

He was doing a sort of crappy impersonation of somebody from that region to demonstrate how bad the accents are in the game.

farcry 2 was a bigger disappointment than spore. SPORE!!!

at least spore kept me hooked for about 20ish hours before it turned downhill. I couldn't even bring myself to finish farcry 2.

Wow am I glad I didn't listen to you people and Yahtzee on this game. Sure, it is repetitive and some missions just feel pointless, but I love the immersion and slight realism there is. Maybe I like it so much because I was never hyped for it until a month after it released. But still, this is another case, like Assassin's Creed, where the reviews were mostly accurate but the feedback here was overwhelmingly negative. I suggest that anyone interested in this game rent or buy it before reading feedback.Jack_Bauer07

I thought at first he was just making fun of someone, but the way he said some things... like "LittleBigPlanet" and "immersion..." I like his old voice better. That was the point of him doing the accent. He was mocking how bad the South African accents were in FarCry 2. I'm surprised how this flew over so many people heads.

It amazes me that people didn't get it and they thought that his actual accent had started to change to be more....australian?

and these are the same people that are bashing far cry 2 for being rubbish.
