New Union Leader Poll, for getting a NEW ACTIVE Leader for the AG Union....

As an ADULT gamer who would like to see more adult gamers take interest, I have decided to make attempt at salvaging this union. Based on the info I got from Gamespots Union FAQ, the process is a poll for new leader, but it is supposed to be submitted by an officer, but it appears that there are NONE active either. Anyway, I will post a poll and see if I can get something shaking on this....UNION.

Okay, for any that visit this union and this post, I am not necessarily trying to do a personal take over here. So, if you know of a member or officer that would like to lead this union, post their names and nominate them and we can start a new poll. The names I used are all members with the MOST RECENT posts (which were months & months ago), and an officer or two, but NO ONE has been active in a long long time. So if you wish to just vote for me, that is fine, and if we get it up and running I can pass the leadership on to someone who is interested in making it work, or I can give it a go and see if I can help...

That or we just see it as a dead carcass on the spot.

Sure you can resusitate this rotting carcass of a union... looking around the board, it could be great again real soon!  Just needs a bit of TLC..

Only if we can get substantial votes to get the MIA leader tossed then get some officers that are interested in being officers and helping out with it. (tag one Gun chimp).

I did get Lonzac (the only officer to respond to PM) to jump in and send out the member wide telegram, but it appears that most don't even use the spot anymore, time will tell. You would think that out of 214 members, a few would still at least still use the Spot.

I'll give a week or two to see if we can get some feedback, then we'll approach Gamestop with whatever we have.... to see if we can sell it.

If not, I'll let it die in peace.

I've always been interested in the idea behind this union, it's great.  But yes, it's been terminal for years.  Though I guess that's what happens when we become adults; mortgages, jobs, etc.  

 I haven't been to GS much lately as my news it direct feed to RSS, the E3 is why I was even on today.  That said, I wouldn't mind taking a semi-active role in the union, I'm really glad nobody voted me as leader, you'd be crazy!  :P  GS unions are where I've met plenty of gaming friends as finding them as an adult is quite hard.  Hell, plenty of the "kids" I used to chat with here are adults now!  Now I'm feeling old. 

Well, this poll has been up for over three weeks now. I have PM'ed Lonzac and ask him to submit this poll and request to Gamespot to see if we can change the leadership and MAYBE the future of this union. For now I have done what I can. Now we just wait and see.....

Thanks to the six others that took some small interest to see if this union can be salvaged. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Thanks Dean.... I appreciate it. Nothing like being the leader of an obsolete (as of now) union..... I am still having issues as all the rights of leader are not available, like setting up officers that will help get this thing back on active territory..

I thought about deleting this topic, but I will leave it up and on the top so that any of the older members who may return will see how this came about.

Thanks, I have actually cleaned up a lot and went through a lot to try and get to this point, but it will take the interest of at least a few others for it to go anywhere.... So many don't even sign on to Gamespot anymore though, and just can't be reached at all. I'll keep hoping and would love to see the new officers and THE ONE that was NOT demoted add some topics and others stuff. Hint, Hint, Hint. Basically, the new officers are the few that HAVE posted on here since I got involved. We shall see......
