Eagerly awaiting my copy to arrive.  Anarchy Edition, with a load of cool stuff. Hopefully it´ll be waiting for me when I get home from work, if not tomorrow.
Bloody Spain and its "Mañana, Mañana" (Tomorrow, Tomorrow).  I want my copy to arrive YESTERDAY!!!Â
Tried it, loved it, have to start again from scratch as I missed a few collector cards! Â Grrrr!
Still, not a problem as I am really loving this game!  The racing sections get tired, QUICKLY, but the missions are varied and fun, the graphics totally amazing (makes my Xbox almost feel like a top end PC!) and it's addictive.  Kind of a strange mix up of all the best parts from Fallout 3, Borderlands and Doom, which can´t be a bad thing.
Multiplayer is the only real let-down and almost feels like an after thought.  Road Rage is chaotic, but soon gets boring and samey, and while Wasteland Legends is fun and presents a few challenges, it´s too short to really enjoy.
Still, overall an excellent game and one I will be probably playing for a while!Â
Rage is becoming a serious obsession... When I´m not playing Gears 3 split-screen with the girlfriend, I find myself in the wastelands, which is great, but I have soooo many other games to try: Bioshock 2, Metro 2033, Crysis 2.... Good job I´ll probably get my copy of Battelfield 3 late, there just isn´t enough time in the day for everything!
I´ve finally reached disc 2 of Rage, with the only real challenge up to now being Abbott and the "Five Finger Fillet" achievement... There´s just no way I'm ever gonna beat that guy with my co-ordination!
Still, it´s been a fun ride so far, and I was actually sorry to see the wasteland go to be replaced by the darker, more barren and seemingly smaller Eastern Wastes.  So far no annoying driving missions, just some good ol' muttie blastin in the subway (I got through the whole level just with wingsticks and two spider-bots for the boss guy mid-way through).  Wingsticks are just fun, the ultimate throw and forget weapon.
Hopefully I won´t miss the cards I have left to collect, then it´s Nightmare mode, which hopefully will be a bit more entertaining!
As for Borderlands, you won´t regret it - co-op is what makes the difference between an excellent FPS and a truly EPIC FPS - Idoian and me are playing split-screen and seem to be running into pretty much every insect, skag and bandit at the same time, all intent on killing us!  Fun central!
Enjoy Battlefield 3 my friend!Â
Borderlands GOTY is pretty cheap atm on PC.tonyhawksP8
Need to pick it up for the Xer, Dean is the one that keeps telling me how good it is, and he plays on the Xer, so I hae someone to co-op with. Currently GOTY @ Gamestop used is $35.00. So many new ones coming out and can't afford them all. Hopefully it will drop in price for the Xmas Holiday with so many new games taking the limelight.

You'll want to buy the GOTY brand new, the content from the expansions comes as a DLC code, not on disc. Chances are the DLC will already have been used if it's still in the package. :([QUOTE="bearnewman"][QUOTE="tonyhawksP8"]Borderlands GOTY is pretty cheap atm on PC.soul_motor

Erm, in reality the DLCs are on a separate Disc.  You install the disc, then use the disc to choose the DLC you want.  Haven't touched them yet though, me n Idoia have been flitting through a second playthrough with the characters we haven't tried yet, and Gears 3...  It´s a real drag having to work, it gets in the way of my game time!!Â

They must've changed it for the original GOTY release, mine came with DLC codes that were used up when I bought the game. I only have the game disc in my copy.Just ordered Rage... Looking forward to playing with some of you guys.
As far as XBL DLC, you can re-download it later. The only issue I've seen is oddball things like Hexic, you may have to call MS to get it. When my first machine died, I had to "re-download," all it was was basically re-linking my ID with purchases.
Yes I have a bit of DLC then will die with Xbox 360 so I wish people would release more DLC discs.tonyhawksP8
AS long as you don't change your account, there shouldn't be an issue. Both XBL and PSN keep track in their system of your paid for DL content. My PS3 ran out of storage space, so I have had to delete ARCADE style games and then have downloaded them again later. But I agree, I would prefer that DLC in GOTY releases should come on a disc. BUT, it is easy to share those DLC with others, which makes the company miss on revenues, Sooooo, pretty sure that DLC will inherently be supplied via DLC codes from now on. ( I am assuming much here and may be full of tuna fish)
It´s a shame, but you're probably right.  The social thing of swapping games with your mates is becoming a thing of the past, sadly!  Now it´s all DLC codes (which is a bummer if you buy one copy, then both you and your girlfriend/brother/sister/goldfish/whatever want to play....  Who gets the DLC code extras??)

Its a good idea though one guy gets one GOTY and then you get another so you save which in Au is important.
As to rage, "What Gun Chimp" said.
That seems to be the norm anymore, there are SO MANY games, and one MUST jump into every one of them to get a taste of it.
Me, I finally plugged in Borderlands and it has taken a bit of control over me. I keep planning on getting back to Rage in the near future, but have so many new (to me) games that I have to play a bit of this and a bit of that.
I do want to make a big SHOUT OUT to Soul Motor for the big help up gaining about 5 levels last Sunday. It is awesome playing with a maxed out BL character, no worries in the world, BUT when you once again tackle it on your own, reality hits like a ton of bricks and you ar fighting for you life. Just seeing the character that you can advance too with time and patience made it all the more enticing to keep with it. So, when will I get back to Rage, AC Revelations, The Run, BF3, etc, etc.... Who knows....
BF3 for me... dunno what happened, just got bored I guess (find myself playing more BFBC 2... which appears to be in danger of extinction because finding a fully manned match is impossible (usually teams of 3-4 a side on conquest which is, well, plain silly).
I´m being sucked into RPGS - first Mass Effect, then Fable 2, now Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.  As a result, I completely suck at FPS and to be fair they don´t seem to capture my attention lately... Weird...!Â
I finished RAGE the other day. It took 26 hours. WOW, what a game. The ending wasn't as hard as I expected. I really enjoyed it all the way through.
I wanted to mention the music. The music in RAGE is so good. It sounds like a full orchestra and I would love to download the songs. The musical cues also help tell you when the action is coming and also when you have downed the last ghoul in the area.
One of my favorite tracks in RAGE is the Jackal Canyon. Give it a listen.
Shoot you later
Can't download DLC (crap modem).
Rage is a great game. A lot of people thought it was going to be a Borderlands Clone but it had it's own uniqueness that separated it from the group. Problem with id software is if we do get Rage II it will probably be in 11 years.
