I'm a 360 owner here actually. Well, I'm not sure it counts that I won it via the pepsi contest last year, but I do enjoy playing it. Enjoying FIFA World Cup Soccer, Gears of War, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance currently :)
I'm just a gamer in general. I have a PS2, DS and a Wii; and I'm looking to get a 360 sometime this year. I still have my Virtual Boy and SNES, and Atari 2600 (none hooked up, but available).
I own a Wii. It's really fun :) But I also had a gamecube before it. I have a DS and PS2 as well. In general, I do see adults interested in the Wii, it's probably because it seems more simple and pick up an play-ready than other consoles. They get really curious when I talk about it :P
I have to agree with Angelbabe, the adults I talk to are a lot more receptive to talking about Wii than PS2, etc. They assumed for years video games were toys for children. But them I am a big kid:wink:
The PC has been my preferred platform for many years but of late it's been going downhill with too many half arsed ports and generic shooters. I grabbbed a Wii because it looked fun and thats something a lot of developers seem to have forgetten in their rush for "realism", I'm glad I did. Even the Wife who hates games plays it, I have a black eye to prove it...Damn Wii Sports. :(
I only play PC, but the Wii is the only console I might be interested in. All the games on the 360 and ps3 don't interest me - I can get similar experiences on PC, but the wii controller is in its own league. :)
I don't care for the Wii, as long as it doesn't have any decent third party content (Mario, Zelda, etc has never sparked my interest). But I may buy one eventually. as there are already several titles announced.
I own just about everything BUT a Wii. lol. Not because I don't like the Wii, it's just been impossible to find one so I sort of gave up for the time being.
Playstation2, XBox (yeah, the original), and an oldie but goodie Nintendo 64 (for the classics MarioKart and Goldeneye). I'm planning on picking up a PS3 this year. Even though there aren't too many good games for it right now, I pray for the future!
Snes, saga megadrive, playstation, Nintendo 64, playstation 2, xbox, xbox360 and i had a cube for a bit. But im only on the 360 now, don't think i'll get a Wii i go running and thats more than enough exercise!
i do have a wii........the kids like it but so do we it is fun. But i also game on 360 and pc.........the wii is just different kind of gaming thats all!........at mo 360 my fav and pc is the other halfes it all works out in the world of gaming!:)

I sold the PS2 and picked up a 360 last Christmas. I also got a PSP in June. No PS3 yet, but the desire to get one isn't there yet. Maybe next year.

The Wii was collecting some serious dust, so we sold it. The PS3 is mostly our DVD player and sometimes Netflix viewer, not much gaming there. The 360 on the other hand is the go to box in our house, we use it as a WMC extender/ Tivo, lots of gaming time there too. We have 2 in the house, one rarely used in the bedroom for WMC mostly, and this is the third one in the living room. (I see three flashing red lights!)
Yeah, I find that I gravitate towards the X Box also. Just seems to me like the MP crowd on XBL is a bit more mature without so much foul language and bravado.
No one else plays on it but me. The kid has her own PS3 as do I, but I find most of my MP friends are X'ers.

The WII never seemed to appeal to me... Guess I´m from the school of thinking that if I wanna run or move, I press X!!
My friends who have Wii's usually have them for their younger kids, as the skill and graphic levels in the games are usually "big, bright and beautiful" with the emphasis on fun and moving around... My friends swear by it as the best "minder" in the biz for their kids to keep them entertained and out from under their feet for a while!
