Well whether its PhD or Doctorate, those types of degrees seem to only be available on the biggest top of the line jobs, such as becoming a Doctor, or a Scientist. I think there's a PhD for Teachers as well.

That means you will probably have to get a MD first, which means a number of years through medical school before further training as an oncologist. I have no idea how long that would take, but perhaps your initial estimate of eight years wouldn't be too far off.

Its much easier to obtain a job by serving coffee and Donuts at Dunkin Donuts, rather than trying to become a Doctor, less time consuming at college as well. :P

Your hard work pays off though since you'll earn lots of money for as long as you work after that. Everything he does after Master's is/should be with pay. You gotta be hired by someone.

I got one of those nice thermal coffee mugs for Christmas! I've been using that every now and then to drink coffee, it's really nice just because you can hold the mug and not even notice it's hot inside.

Hope it doesn't! Watching others suffer is horrible. One of the reasons I want to be a doctor is to make someone's life more happier! If I can save at least someone cancer, I'm sure I would be 100% happy!:Dpapermariofan57
