I love science too :P ... everithing is scientifically proved :D and has scientifical explenations , though I am not the "GO SCIENCE and DOWN WITH THE CHURCH" type , I think religion has an important purpuse , you just have to be carefull in who you believe , meaning that you must know very much the hystory of your religion :P...Ietam_Revan
I dont know if this is against my religion (Christianity), but I support science and religion lol
I don't know to much about Anti-matter (Star Trek ?) but I do know that they are working on Boron/Hydrogen power. It's supposed to be safer than normal hydrogen because all you need is water and boron. When the boron reacts with the water it produces hydrogen and boron oxide. Which can be turned back into Boron and Oxygen making it reusable. Other elements like Sodium and Potassium also react with water in the same way but the reactions are much more violent requiring special chambers to contain. In any case the sooner an alternative, any alternative is applied, the better. PESWiki.com -- Pure Energy Systems WikiDarth-Sifh
A really effective way or alternative for when we run out of oil is something thats efficient, reliable, and reusable. That way, we never run out of it, like we eventually will on oil
I'm christian too but christianity did horrible things in the past .... back to topic ....
I read an article on a newspaper saying that the summer polar ice bergs will melt ... in 5 years ... problem...

2 wrongs dont make a right, just b/c christians did ba-... never mind.
i just found out that there is a factory in production that will make america energy self reliant in the future. it heats compounds with carbon, then bacteria does some weird crap to it and it poops out ethanol, so old tires and crap can be turned into ethanol :D please correct me if i am wrong.
sweet cant wait to use prokaryotic organisms feces to fuel my car!grafkhun
Man now this is making me think if the world will find a method that would replace oil and would be just as good or maybe even better. Then hopefully it would be less polluted and everything....lol maybe i'm just wishing for that
There's so many methods but they will find an efficient one ah well, and that antihydrogen stuff is pretty interesting...

oil isn't going away. It's a multi-billion dollar industry

Until it runs out. Not really anywhere to go after that for the industry.[QUOTE="greenpyro33"][QUOTE="asian_pride69"]Man now this is making me think if the world will find a method that would replace oil and would be just as good or maybe even better. Until it runs out. Not really anywhere to go after that for the industry.yup, the oil industry will run out eventually, but not for a long time. theres still a lot of oil in the earth. but we shouldn't become so dependent on oil, we should find alternatives that are reliable to fall back on.

that is what peole are trying to doIt's called terra forming..Regor23Mars maybe, but it's easier to just dump all of all garbage on the moon.
It would make more sense to send them to the sun...At least they would burn up way before they reach the surface..Regor23Maybe. . . but I am a bit of a pac rat. I like to have the ability to get to my garbage just in case. Besides, you never know when they will find a way to recycle it.
I don't think the goverment will get the tax refund that you've accidently thrown in the garbage from the moon..lolRegor23
if nothing is done about global warming (and global dimming) in ten years then Earth will have gone past the turning point and will be unchangable. Heard that from a few scientists. So pretty much, if you dont want the Earth to end up like Venus then stop polluting!

gobal dimming? i thought the eath was getting more bright with all the light pollution.

Until it runs out. Not really anywhere to go after that for the industry.then we turn to Alberta. Oil will not run out for a long time, but we can't entirely depend on it like we used to.

You know what pisses me off? Is that people really dont care or are too ignorant to know what's going on with the world and too ignorant to know about it. They're gona regret someday that they didnt care about the Earth and it hits them back hard...
sorry I expressed myself badly , I saw on a newspaper that the remaining petrol will finish in 30 years...Ietam_Revan
Predicting the future of events is always a tricky thing. Estimates are just that: estimates. Scientists can see trends and my guess is that they didn't include the optimistic number of years of oil left at 70. Newspapers and other media like to give you the worst case scenario to try to frighten people. Better to be prepared than scared. ahem.
Having said that, 70 years is not far off. There are alternatives to driving the gas guzzling suv's. Did you know that half the cars in 1915(?) were electric? The developing world has always had the ability but its corporations that have pushed oil down our vehicles and throats to now record the highest profits yet.
YEah it's not. I mean, obviously the Earth is not gonna last that long; eventually it's gonna run out of resources and we would be overpopulated and such, so hopefully, we would have found other planets that can sustain life and that we can further human civilization in other planets...lol yeah I'm thinking big too :P
^ i dont know if thats good or not for the planet.grafkhun
good point , but I think humankind will pass the resource problem , I mean , humankind always had a problem and eventually passed it, probably 200 years in the future they will talk on how stupid are the people in our time beacuse they did not use alternative energy sources ...
