Michael Bay was talking about the difference between Transformers and the upcoming sequel at ShoWest last week.Oh and which movie(s) are you guys looking forward to this year?
He said: "I'm very confident in the movie; the movie is way different [from the first film]. It's epic, it goes around the world, and it's the first film to shoot on the pyramids in like 40 years. "
He went on: "the robot technology is far mote advanced than the way it was in the first movie in the terms of the acting level we were able to get out of the robots. It feels different... I'm confident in it!"
Another Transformers story, another chance to use this picture.
Bay also said the mooted 2011 release date for Transformers 3 was studio Paramount "posturing", and that the film wouldn't be in 3D, which he describes as "a gimmick".
Finally, the director revealed that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen came in $4m under budget, with the leftover cash put into special effects. The_Last_Ride
