I don't see why it would have been an issue. 52 free posts in a year? Not a big deal at all. But I'd have done the same thing just to be safe. I did that with the color for my UCB. If staff has an issue with it some day I'll link to a topic where I asked and was told it was fine to do. CYA

Yah, better safe than sorry, especially when dealing with moderations. The last thing I need is a point loss or suspension for those 53 posts per year.
If I didn't get a suspension for the mess I made I can't see anyone getting one for just 50 some posts in a year. My suspension came due to what happened but it was my own doing for telling someone off months later.

J Staff would stop such a user long before they got that close tho I bet. After this past summer I can't see them risking the same thing happening again. Two users that havn't been here all that long now have the highest counts on the site. What if someone came in and had the power to be a third and in only have the time?

Well I don't think they could stop a user if he posted in lots of different boards and didn't do chains. There would be nothing wrong then.
