Who are you voting for???{POLL}

We have a multiparty belief and it's representational democracy.

Federal Election Process:

1) You vote for a party member (ex: Conservative, Liberal, NDP, Green, Bloc Quebecois and maybe other less popular party that no one cares)

2) The winner of the election becomes the Prime Minster. How do you win? Your party must have more party member elected.

That's it! You vote once!

In other words, Canadians vote for their local Member of Parliament (MP), who sits in the House of Commons. Canadians do not vote directly for the Prime Minister, nor do they vote for senators.

We are having an election right now. Parliament was dissolved on Sept 7 and we vote on October 14.

not to be a jerk or anything, but why vote for a guy is just another Bush with a different face? he won't help us at all and all he wants is more power, McCain reminds me of Palpatine, and all he wanted was Power, Absolute Power, and look what happened to him in the end, he was betrayed by his own pupil. i see Palin as Darth Vader and look what he did to Palpatine in the end, he turned on his master, i see Palin doing the same thing to McCain in the end, i don't trust either one of them.jediknight52501

Barrack Obama came out of no where he has hardly no expierance whatsoever and to be quite honest i think hes a sleepercell(i mean his middle name is Hussesin for crying out loud)

And McCain well hes just way to old man im really worrying hes gonna die and sarah palin will take over which wont be that good(sarah palin isnt that bad thru as i thought) but everything else is good

oh i know the government is corrupt its been corrupt since wayyy back then it always will be i know this may sound really dumb or u might think well thats unbelievable but i think Abraham Lincoln was killed by his own government and so was JFK they were such really really good people and they were getting too popular so they hired a hit on them and assasinated them i truely do believe that i really dont think the president has any power whatsoever and i wouldnt be suprised if MGS was actually telling the truth(the MGS part is just a joke but everything else i think is true)

if i could vote i would say barak oboma. all mccain talks about is how barack is bad. what is he gonna do 4 president? prob cuas a draft!. not only that godforbid he dies from his age. the ultra noob sara palin will be the president and she abuses her powers in gov so what will she do as a president? Barack oboma will cut taxes for people who make less then 250000 bucks a year by $500 for single people and $1000 for families. he will also he will invest in new energy to open up 5million jobs for people. for people uninsured with health care obama will give health insurence like the polices members of congress have. for education he will make preschool higher education for a really good start in school. Barack is gonna keep the troops in iraq untill 2010 unlike mccain becuse mccain will do it for a long time. barack will meer president hugo cahvez unlike mccain. barack also will let puto rico have the right for slef determanation. in cuba barack will ease the embargo. also alot of celeb suporters and mccain dosnt. barack will do equal pay while mccain said no to that. also he will grant legal status to some imagrant students. thats all i have 2 say 4 now
