Oh, and you're much younger than I though Hush. -Katsuri-
yea.. he has that effect in ppl...
also, 21 is pretty old. i lose the tv remote often, i sit around and make sarcastic comments about my neighbors, and i always talk about "back in the day". those are all symptoms of being among the elderly in my book:PHushRong
oh... stop... 21 is not old... I`m 29 and my child inside is still kicking quite hard :P
and do not get me started with y wish/track list... and the others 20games in process... I`m DOOM!!!
@Kat: you cna not reserve games? did i read that right?
BTW: I`m playing infamous again (god bless one "easy" week) AWESOME!!! about to finish the 1st island  Also i tried the demo of overlord (finally  ) I WANT THAT GAME!!!! and I got some new games that would not try for now for lack of time  I just hope I can complete Infamous this week :)
anyway... gonna eat something... then... some GAMING!!!! :)Â

[QUOTE="GreggD"]I'm not a big fan of Megadeth. I'm going to use my status to be a little bossy here, and say that I disagree...And if you want, we can take this outside...DynamicJumpIuffSeeing you're much older, stronger, and faster than I am, I'd rather not take this outside.Good, then that makes two of us.
@DJ: happy brithday dude! so you are getting a guitar/ want to get one? i would get one too...but i dont have the hand coordination for musical instruments, only for video game controllers it seems.
@Chang: i beat the bajesus outta infamous the other day. the story was good i think (for being, EVIL). i beat it on hard and got the medal for it. now im playing a good person...and not going around electrocuting people and sucking the life out of them.
also, how do i come off as an older person? i must be distinguished haha.
an yeah, there are alot of games, but i gotta narrow them down. but i think all of the ones i want come out at the same time...which is a suck. nothing is worse i think than getting a BUNCH of new games at one time. cuz you either punish yourself by playing one at a time or you confuse yourself and play them back to back.
@Elbert: i couldnt live without food or sleep....it charges me up for my video gamin!
oh, an i think im watchin transformers or something tomorrow. im not sure, my cousin wants to go to the movies so we are watching whatever. and speaking of movies, has naybody heard/seen of one called Gamer? (or something like that). I has the guy who played king leonidas from 300 so its looks awesome except one small thing, ludacris. that guy is in the movie...thus i fear it may turn out to be crap like 2 fast 2 furious
Yup, it's a pain in the butt when you know a certain upcoming game will be out of store when you get to buy it. They just don't trust us to come back after reserving a game..."first come, first served!".@Kat: you cna not reserve games? did i read that right?
chang_1910
I finished Ghostbusters yesterday. It almost feels like a waste, but then I remembered that my purchase will help in the push for a new proper theatrical release.
Pfft! 21 isn't old. You're just two years older than me :P
-Katsuri-
You know, a lot of my friends are nineteen, as well. All nice people, if slightly less mature than myself. Oh, who am I kidding. I got goosebumps when I saw the Crackdown 2 teaser at Microsoft's press conference this year.
@gregg: sorry to hear that bro.
and how did you wind up stuck in time square? there are street signs a junk to help you out...but if you want directions, avoid tourists.
@Kat: are the game stores near you like a "mom an pop" kinda store? if they were more "corporate" like gamstop they would let you reserve games...but you gotta pay for it then and there. maybe that'd be a piece of advice to give them?
i think im younger among my peers(grade level) cuz i born in may. but my group of friends(scattered around the world but mostly in japan) are around 18 and 19 as well.
as for my family, between my my sister and my cousins, i am THE youngest. to paint a better picture of that, i have one cousin who is over two times older than me and i have a nephew who is only about 4 or less years younger than me.
Thanks. And, no, I meant I'm stuck because the ghosts outside the theatre keep knocking down all of us at once. It's pissing me off.@gregg: sorry to hear that bro.

HushRong
maybe she is confirming that the times square deal was in ghostbusters.
i've also been thinking of picking up final fantasy XII. i played revenant wings but not the first one and i think it will be a good way to pass some time as i wait for Bayonetta alongisde that SMT game.
also, anyone else going to get Bayonetta, it looks AWESOME. i hope it will get me out of the slump DMC4 put me in
DMC is awesome, that game is the reasons i got a ps2(and got heavily into gaming. i had a nintendo64 an it was ok but not groundbreaking)
DMC2, the greatest challenge i had with that game was seeing how long it would take me to beat it with my eyes closed. really...its not that hard. the problem with it was it was set TOO easy and believed that it was done so for "casual gamers". its two discs, one for each character you play and it only takes about 4 or less hours to beat a single one using the hardcore skills used in the first game.
the story, also makes no sense and basically has nothing to it. you literally just go from place to place killing things without reason. i only keep it cuz its part of my DMC collection. other than that, avoid it like a neighbor with a disease.
DMC3, is my favorite. Dante when he was younger was the best. my favorite part is when he meets a certain female character, loved those scenes. and the action is back on par with kick-*ssery-ness. i'd say its the best one and well rivals the original. this game is GOOD so get it.
DMC4, it was alright, but it could have been different/better. it was alright but not what i had hoped for but its still a good game.
and yeah, the Heroine of OoE has SUPER long hair, and the heroine of Bayonetta has SUPER long hair(and i think she uses it for something). i guess having long strands of hair is the new "in thing" these days with women that want to save the world
Thanks for the laugh with the time square thing
@Hush: Mom an pop...? Well, I guess I could convince them to let me reserve if I gave them money in advance like with GS. Trouble is that they don't trust customers enough for anything else. So much for "customer first".
I got into school earlier than my most of my peers, so I'm actually younger than those I study with. I don't let it effect me much though. Family wise, I'm the second youngest, with one sister younger than me and an older sister who already got married (I had an older brother, but he passed away due to lung cancer when I was 11 years old).
[QUOTE="chang_1910"] about the time square thingy  Hush that was hillarious... :P @Gregg: Ghosbuster?GreggDWait, what's the question, Mari?
I was not sure if you were talking about Ghostbuster: the game... But I think you are... is it good? I`m thinking about getting tit, but the wii version. I do not think is worst as a 60US game...
[QUOTE="HushRong"]maybe she is confirming that the times square deal was in ghostbusters.Oh, right. Yeah, it's from the Ghostbusters game. Oh, and I finally beat the level. God damned Mr. Stay Puft...GreggD
yeap.. It was pretty much that.. (as you can read above :P )
@elbert: thx, THANK YOU so much for looking into that for me....:) ... I`m kind of relieve.. I would like to play that game right away, and atm my time is kind of crazy... :P Anyway, that game looks pretty sweet, it reminds me of FF, exc that instead of a camara is some budism (I think) prays.... overall pretty neat concept, hope it live to expectations :)
.........
now back to reading and working on this freaking presenattion.. brake is over...Â
see you all a round..
and as a favor to a GS member who came asking for this....

chang you are very welcome and i also can't wait to play the game this is a good year for horror games on the wii cursed mountain silent hill dead space resident evil 0, 1 wii makes and darkside story the grudgeelbert_b_23We might be able to play Fatal Frame 4 as well, if the translation patch works(it's not complete yet).
hey shauny!
@katsuri: wow, you're store sounds super shady and/or is run by butt pirates. i've only been to one store here that isnt own in a company/corporate fashion like GS and they are awesome. they have two stores, the one i frequent is slightly larger than most GS stores but its filled with 70%+ of games and systems dating back over 20 years ago. then they got this huge store i heard about, and they even have old school arcade games that you can play for free. in fact, they even let you try out the games before you buy and have awesome policies regarding their returns an everything. those guys are truly gamers for gamers.
most GS people that i met are cool...but they all seem to want to murder their manager:?
i also picked up FFXII and its a pretty good game, alot different from other FF games but good still(i played it for like 7 hours straight, i may need to go see a doctor because the sun seems awfully brighter). and tomorrow im going to pick up SMT Devil Survivor...so i know what i will be doin this weekend. (not drugs if thats what you are thinking)
where do you live? not like im gonna stalk ya
i think its around 90's in Austin, and its been hotter in San Antonio since i listen to one of their radio stations frequently. im just happy its not like Okinawa where it has jungles, sorrounded by the ocean, and because of that, HUMID! i remember walking home in the rain after school...and i could feel i was sweating still. its unbearable. and japan itself has forest like terrain...they dont worry about humidity.
i like dry heat though, like LA had when i went there one summer. my cousins from minnesota were freakin out about it being in the 90's but i loved it. and it was good for my skin too.
but put on that sun tan stuff...dont get your skin all messed up bein in the sun. like those ladies that over tan and look like burnt toast(like the lady in Theres Something about Mary)
Hey guys, I'm finally back online.ShaunyP
HEY!!!!!!!!!!!! :D glad to see you back :)
@elbert: yeap... :D ... horror is always welcome to my home ;) ... and some nice RPG are coming to ps3.. so me HAPPY.

wait.... dude.... you can not say that and leaving hanging.... more details dude.. any source?? what you mean by "traslation patch" is a illegal thingy.... *waits anxious hoping Ice would not brake her heart*
@Hush: yea.. I liked that way of FF12... too bad that FF13 do not have real time and in top of everything they remove playing with a party, which is stupid imo bc it make it just another action adventure but you have 3 running around with you that you can not control... at least for what I read last time about the game..
@Dejiko: what`s your job? and where the hell you live... that is freaking crazy weather.. :?
D3j1k0 sounds as bad as where i live in 110 all week and most summers get around 120elbert_b_23

While it obviously is unofficial, it isn't illegal as far as I know. It's supposed to not only provide English subtitles for the game, but also bypass the region lock, allowing you to play the game without a modded(or Japanese) Wii. If it works as promised(I really, really hope it does), all you'll need to do is download it to an SD card, put the card in your Wii, and then run it from the main menu.
