i see what you mean now- i think taking into consideration how a thread has any relation to CV is wise.  i think the horror, anime, etc. threads definitely have relevance, and the more social threads (person above me) are fine, but do you think we need to bring up ideas before we automatically make a new thread?  It's nice to have all this power :lol: , but maybe we need to think about how it's going to affect the board organizationally....:)

OK 3 reasons why im insisting on topics other than CV.

1) If this was purely a union on dicussion of CV, then i think there are only gonna be limited number of posters here such as the ones already posting. Cuz not everyone is well versed with CV. And other topics might look familiar to the new recruits and they might post in it and atleast look at the other topics and try to learn bout CV.

2) If all the stuff like jokes, pictures not related to CV and other stuff is posted in the OT thread, it wont be viewed most of the time cuz there will be a hella lot of new posts when we come back and not all of us have the patience to view them all. So the posts having nice info would go to waste and lot of us will miss a lot. And the new recruits will only post in the OT thread if they dunno bout CV.

3) Lastly the more number of topics and posts we have, the higher our level will rise. Im SERIOUS even locked topics with a lotta replies contribute to the level and im sure that gaining levels is one of our ultimate goals. All topics other than CV are not considered spam or anything else for that matter. It just gives us more to discuss on. If ya have noticed, most unions based on anime have thread for music, video games, jokes, union games (a lotta games), parties and anything else we can think of. Thats why im suggesting we do a little of the same. Not all of it.

So pls consider my request.

If we're just going to talk about CV we'll run out of things to talk about in a week. I don't have all that much knowledge abouth the games, I've only played three of the old games. My knowledge is limited to Simon Belmont, Kill Dracula and Whip. I can't participate in all that many threads with that little piece of info. There are probably many more like me out there and they probably won't be all that active either if all the threads are CV related. I agree that we should try and keep most of the topics as close up to the theme as possible, but some OT and game threads must be allowed for the union to progress.

I agree that OT related threads should be discussed before posted, Atleast now that the "OT bug" seem to have spread throughout this union. Our current objectiv should be getting this entire union back on topic, before making any more non-related or OT threads.    PER85

i think you nailed what i was meaning to say- no, threads don't have to be exclusively CV related (that could kill a board), but if someone comes up with a an OT related thread, just maybe give a heads up about it.  i'm kinda looking at it like a "housecleaning" perspective.....and as maribel said, do whatever and i'll follow! :)

I agree on what every ones saying but you still dont get my point im not saying to post every thing strictly on cv....

But this unions purpose is to learn more about the cv series,that's  basically it purpose,but to get more recruits to ahh post I guess we gotta do what ever means necessary

hey kaos....everyone...why we are not associated with all CV games...just a few of them....if we were associated to all of them we will be on the main page of a few of them...like circle of the moon, aria of sorrow, double pack, harmony of dissonence........ if we are on the main page that will make more people to know about us....which may help having more members...especially those that are looking for one of this games, meaning the like or know about castlevania....

I konw that we have the hurt & heal game for CV characters, and I got to thinking that it would be fun to do the same with the CV union members.  Of course you'd have to nominate yourself to be in the game.  You'd only have to participate if you wanted becuase we wouldn't want anyone to take offense, or take it personally.

I will sort all of it out and make the threads kk! JUST challenge some 1 and hope they accept.

that's a nice idea skullz- i've also seen a contest of some sort (ie: hard CV trivia, etc) and the winner would get a banner....of course that's for people like me who don't have any photoshop skills...:lol:...maybe mix the two- do a voting, the GFX winner gets the bragging rights and then we can use it as a "prize" of some sort in a game....

maybe i'm being overly ambitious again....:P
