how does that other cv union have so many active members. we re ranked higher too :?flamingskullz
they were the first official CV union- plus their in depth discussion accommodates more old school gamers and it's exclusively CV.  their ground rules and direction are quite different from this union (not better, not worse, just different).... our board is more active ( hence the leveling) :)  but we tend to cover and discuss the newer games, probably making it hard to reach out to everyone.....they're out there somewhere! :D

hey skullz! would you be interested in doing a tag for the simon COTW? i figure we'll give it to him after the hurt and heal and the fact he looked like he was next in line anyway after all the voting. just let me know- i won't be able to put anything up quite yet anyway....i'm still concentrating on making sure my house doesn't float away... :P :lol:

HOD save points can be few and far between- there is a use for money, as it sounds like you haven't run into the merchant yet. if it hasn't been bumped already, i'll bump the troubleshooting thread, and there we'd be happy to help you out more in depth. :)

the other CV union has had like 10 new members in the last week.. and counting....honestly that's not a big thing with me, for some others it's huge to get people here. if it is a big deal to people here, i can't stress enough how big CV is with the old-school population, and the fact we're lacking in that department big time. horror based threads are awesome, essential, and great additions for this union, and you can find them all over the place in other unions.....i think we need to ask, who is our audience (not just people who like CV, there are different specific CV gamers)?? who do we want to expand to? (if at all, depending on how satisfied you are).....maybe we should do a survey! :D i dunno! i'm rambling again....*duct tapes mouth*
No its a good idea and skullz has implemented it. Now we'll know what threads members want here. Someone needs to inform the members about the poll with a telegram
ok guys i'll be hanging around this thread quite a bit in the next week or so- as much as i'd like to do everything all at once, i'll just be focusing on one thing at a time. the first big thing that crossed my mind is the homepage image! :) I'd like to beef up the description of the union a little more (after hearing the latest union poll) pertaining to CV and horror, get a great CV image, maybe a directory, how about one of those counter thingies?! :P :lol:
another thing to think of (though i don't want to step on people's feet) is our affiliations. we are horror affiliated which is great :) but would any of you be willing to budge on one of the non CV affiliations? I'd really like to put one of the better older CV games up for the old schoolers to feel a little more welcome. It's come to our attention in the last poll that old school does have a place here and personally will be one of the huge catalysts for getting more recruits.

New Question! Will we just never refresh topics, I have the post limit set to the top, but some topics have page numbers in the double digits. That just seems well, odd. Maybe we could just shift some of this stuff to version two :?
