UNG! Castlevania 1 is SOOOO FRUSTRATING!

I got to Death on the VC version of CV 1 and after about 7 attemps at him, I put the game on standby (went to the Home menu and turned off my system). Maybe a week later, I turn on my Wii to try again and.... MY DATA WASNT THERE! It was on the title screen, I had to start all over again (Spent 6 hours getting to death). As fate would have it, I stop at the same place as before and try to suspend my data. The next day I went to give Death another shot..... and guess what happened, really, I want you to guess........................ Yep, my data was erased, AGAIN. Its annoying because Frankenstein and Igor are beyond frustrating (spent 3 hours on their level trying to beat them!), and Death is damn near impossible....I feel like giving up :cry:

Ung, I feel like using an emulator with save states now :P

Anyone else have enormous frustration with CV1?

If you go to Home menu and turn the system off there, you are not creating a suspend file.

How to do it?

If you follow tjose step by heart it should have the issue solve.

BTW: yeap, I had a crazy.. *pulling my hair out* with CV1 :P Killing Death :lol: .. That said... there is a lil trick about how to do so...

Lol, I know how to suspend data, Ive done it before, I just worded how I did it wrong. I went to the home menu then the Wii menu I assureyou :P.

Im actually using the same tactic you suuggested BUT death escapes 3/4 through the beating everytime becuase I always get hit... then he annihilates me :P

How is he ale to hit you? He should not be able to move, unless he escape the cursed of the holy water :P which actually happened to me a couple of times...

Yea, I hated when that happen, specially bc sometimes I just got to cofident and got distracted or did not puch the button well or something like that.. next thing I known he is sending scyphe my way... :shock: ... oh crap.. *death* ... :lol: I did kill him once after he got loose, but he had just like 2 bars and I was full.. so.. diying ether would have being to pathetic :lol:

Do you planned to try it again? You know, you should try to suspend in lvl 1. and see if it works.. and after you are sure that it will then keep playing...

I like having the file suspend on the VC, bc that way I can get to the stage 99 one day (pry never gonna happen, I vow before Omega, again) but I would like to make it to at least stage 50 :P

Tested, and suspending works. I think the problem was I UNPLUGGED my Wii both times before I played it.

yea.. you can get to lvl 99 on CV1.. is teh same lvls but harder and harder...

one of our member (Omega) did it, you can find it here... on the VC and the GBA versions.
