Staying strong for the most part, although there have been some crappy moments, but nothing overwhelming so far.

My mode of adaptation is trying to look forward and gear to make some changes. Think I'm going to look for another apartment and start my cleaning and organization type things. Sorta like a snake sheds skin, I start getting rid of things and consolidating.

I drank most of the weekend with the fruitloops that live in the building. Finally visted my father yesterday. Back in at work tonight....slow and boring. Starting to feel tired and trying not to think too much.

so josh and quaddy. what virus scans/protection do you two use? i personally use adaware and spybott and then occasionally use hijackthis for trickier stuff. works every time for me. havent gotten a virus yet :)MichaeltheCM

I use the one included with System Mechanic Pro, which used to say Kaparsky, but now they either have their own version or made a deal with Kaparsky. It also has a spyware thing in it too.

I used Adaware, but it appears it is no longer free? I got rid of it. I have not currently replaced it...but most of the time I only go to sites I trust so spyware isnt a huge problem for me. I should get another free one sometime, but havent got around to it.

I use Mcafee, it works very well and it has been me and the rest of my familys virus protection ever since we got the internet :)

I am very good and it is great to be back. I love this place and i don't think i will leave again :)

yeah im starting working now. i work at Ross (retail store (like clothes and stuff)) it's a chill job. i just work cashier and face products. im going to be working every day now. i need a lot of money for next years living.

I've always wanted one on this nice block downtown. (its only 5 blocks away but much nicer) I just applied for it today. Its only a studio, but it has some exposed brick and a little fireplace (not operational). Its sorta one of those renovated historical type buildings, quite nice. I cant wait! However telling my landlords Im going to move is gonna sucks, they are friends too...but I have to get the hell out of there.

yeah i have still yet to see a movie that does the book justice. i think the only movies that have even remotely close imo, are the Lord of the Rings. however they still left a lot out and changed a few things.

yeah the beach can be stressful getting there and if too many people are there, it can totally ruin the experience. i love sunbathing. i like being tan :D i wonder if i'll still like it when im older as well :|

thank you :oops: yeah i've been pretty busy and getting closing hours. that's alright though b/c i'll be starting school soon (taking a summer class) oh crap that means i'll have even less time. damn :( haha i like the job quite a bit. it's chill and easy. lol training? they hardly trained me at all. they just gave me instructions my first day on how to opperate the cash register and that was it :P it's alright though. i think i got the hang of it.

They are becoming more popular so eventually there will be viruses and spyware launched for them, it's just a matter of time, but for now they are using that as an excuse to boost their sales but it will backfire once more people start getting them, the old school basics are the best way to stay safedouble_decker

I know but on gaia, like on certain boards there, there are really immature people and they are also very stupid. Of course not everyone there is stupid but it amazes me how some people are.
They are also very rude and the mods don't always do their job quickly or right there.

When I was in college the macs got them there.

Nope not free. I dont usually pay for such things either, but it came with that other program I really like, so bonus.
