This thread is for one reason (now two), related to smokes thread about being excited.....this is why....yesterday if anyone caught wind of it, Joystiq and Kotaku posted a blurb about BIG NEWS at midnight . . . . . the processors have started shipping from IBM.....uh...yeah.....big news.
You wanna know why some people aren't as excited as months prior? There's a reason right there - good luck finding the article - they've buried it like a plauge infested corpse.....granted Joystiq isn't a goldmine of info - but this was hyped. I personally did not care what the announcement was and was not suprised when I read this morning what it was (they did not say who it was relating to yesterday) because I'm at that point.
The big news....more pointless nonsense, maybe a jab back at Nintendo - but it's way outta hand at the moment.
And I don't think the Wii having a housing of plastic should be any type of revelation...I would say this is common sense.....I mean it won't be made of metal or wood or fairy bones or paper. Every console housing is made of plastic.......no...really, they are. :|
