when i was in Second Grade (im going into 10th this year) i had an NES and then after a year i got an N64 and after that I've gotten every Nintendo System. But the game that got me was probably Super Mario ????? (cant think of the one on the NES {i know you fight Birdo alot})
Well..................When I was young my parents bought a Nintendo.I was amazed; it was the first time I watched someone play a video game.I was filled with joy when they let me play it a year later!As you can tell from my username,avatar,signature,and sig pic I'm all about Mario. Mario was the game that got me hooked on Nintendo.The first game I ever played on the first system I'd ever seen.
I had the NES when I was very young, but what me into Nintendo really was when I would go to my babysitter. her grandson had an SNES and N64, and I would play w/ them a lot.
My cousin got a SNES when I was about 5 or 6 and I instantly got hooked on video gaming and especially Nitendo. I can't tell you how much time I spent with Super Mari World when I first got into gaming. :lol:
a gameboy. My cousin had a NES but it didn' really appeal to me at the time, but then i played tetris on the game boy and nitendo officially got my money for their stuff
i started off with a ps (a friend had a snes but i wasnt really interested). then one day that kid got an N64 and the original SSB. i loved it so much that i pestered my mom for a year b4 she finally got it.
My brother and sister played on the SNES. I wanted to play so my sister taught me. The game I learned was Super Mario World. I got hooked on SNES that my collection exploded over 20 games. Then I asked for a Gamecube and then hopefully finally Wii in the next months.
I remember watching my parents, sister, and pop pop play the nes, atari, and the snes... I forget what i actually played first, but the earliest game I remember actually playing myself, was World Cup for the NES. Fun soccer game by Atlus... who whoever would become Atlus later. (it had the same graphics style as Super Dodgeball for the GBA) It was so fun running around aimlessly because i had no idea what i was doing... but i still had fun :D
But the first game i played and actually knew what i was doing... that i have no idea.
Well, before when I had my Atari 2600 (don't laugh), the experience just wasn't enough. So I moved up by borrowing my cousin's NES, and then when the SNES came out I got that. I guess you just stick with what you started with, although Nintendo deserves to be respected whether you started with them or not. ;)
I got into Nintendo because the place where I live is populated with many Nintendo fans (I don't know why), but I was really big for Xbox, but then there consoles were cheap so i picked up an N64, and loved it so I've been a fan since and perfect dark was the game that kept me into it.
I think I originally got hooked with the Gameboy, and then the N64 came out and I played Super Mario 64... from their I was strictly a Nintendo fan. I played the SNES at my aunt's house before, but I don't remember it as much as the N64. Nintendo really is awesome :P
Many years ago I recieved the origional Gameboy as a present with Super Mario Land. I have stuck with the handhelds ever since. My first Nintendo console was the Gamecube and now the Wii. I loved the Sega consoles as a child!
When I was about 5 years old, my cousin gave me his gameboy and a cartload of games. He was bored with it. It's so old now, it's yellow instead of grey:lol:. When I was 7 or 8, my mother got me a N64 with Mario 64, but because of my terrible English, I had no idea what I had to do. She returned it to the store, and got me a SNES instead with Mario allstars+Mario World. And when I got more into gaming (and English) she gave me a N64 again, this time with the original SSB.
Sweet memories, and I bouth every other system myself later on.
My neighbor got me into sega genesis then i believe my cusion got me into super nintendo. I only played NES once. But yea thats how it started the game i really liked on Super nintendo was Mario 3 and world best games! nintendo best company!

Which one? Hopefully not the first Super Mario Advance (Super Mario Bros. 2), that one was perhaps the worst Mario game in the series...
I think it was the first one because all it says is super mario advance on the cartridge, but actually after looking at my gba games i realized that SMA didnt make me a nintendo fan it was mario kart super circuit. SMA was my first mario game though, but the bosses were annoying :x. I cant believe i 4got about MKSC...:|, especially since i play MK: DD almost every day.
I had a NES growing up. Fell in love with it. Got an N64 loved Nintendo ever since. I have owned every Nintendo console, except the Wii which I should be getting soon.
Well my Dad brought home an snes one day when I was young and that's how i pretty much got into Nintendo. The game that I first played was probably either Earthbound or Super Mario World.
When the NES first came out I got on for christmas, and Mike Tyson's Punch Out was the game that hooked me, but the game that really hooked me on actually buying more instead of just waiting around for another holiday/ birthday was Mario Kart for the SNES.
