Now that E3 is slowly but surely coming to an end, how do you think Nintendo did? Some are skeptical of Nintendo's lack of games to please the "core gamer", others are impressed and are excited for Nintendo's future. So, what do you think?

Although I think we've discussed this in the E3 impressions thread, but I think Nintendo Press Conference was okay. I think that Mario Kart was a nice little add and surprise. I like most of the annoucements after the Conferences like Mario Party DS. If you want my full impressions of E3 just go to the E3 Impressions thread one first page.

I'm a patient man, I'm more than willing to wait for the quality that Nintendo always delivers.

From what I've heard, they've done BAD. Nintendo needs to step up to the plate and cut the crap, get out some more hardcore games for the hardcore gamers! I'm fine with casual games as long as we have a nice, steady stream of more in-depth and immersive games coming out at the same time. Unfortunately, as was made obvious by E3, Nintendo still hasn't seen the bigger picture and still wants to focus its time on pleasing the newer gamers.

Get with the program! Please everybody, not just the ones that are newer to gaming!

Nintendo showed how well the DS and Wii were doing but us fans already knew hope well Nintendo was doing and I thought compared to last year when they had the best out of the 3 because they showed off Mario Galaxy,Super Smash Bros Brawl,Wii Sports,Zelda Twilight Princess last year I was happy but this yearI was dissapointed. I had a feeling they were going to announce Mario Kart. They announced the release dates for Super Smash Bros Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy. They only announced them in the US. They didn't announce the dates for Europe or Japan. I also felt December for Super Smash Bros Brawl I expected September or October. I don't understand why they didn't have playablr Super Smash Bros Brawl either. For the future I think the DS is okay but Mario Kart is probably the only game worth looking forward to in 2008 for the Wii.

For the press conference, Nintendo literally sucked. Yeah I know there was the release dates and all plus the MKWii announcement, but like I said in other threads the conference just felt empty and dull in overall.

As for E3 completely; Nintendo has been showing all-new games and now is increasing its performance at E3, right now it's not that bad. But no Zelda info (except PH) for me = crap :x. I'm just kidding, in overall Nintendo is good at E3 :P, but not like last year, not at all.

Nintendo did okay this year. I think they did a 5/10. Hereing why and well how Nintendo is doing something we knew. I was hoping for more new games to be annoucnced. I'm okay for now with the casual games, but you can't forget the hardcore gamers. After the holidays, we only have Mario Kart to look forward to. However, Nintendo can make up ground at Leipzeg and/or TGS.

They did..... poorly. The conference was very bad. The first half hour of it was all stupid numbers that we already know about. And there wasn't much new things to talk about form the conference. They didn't announced anything unexpected, at least software wise, like last E3. And the main game at the conference was Wii Fit? I don't care about exercising, I want new games for gamers, not so stupid exercise gimmicky thing. They did make up for some of it with the new info on Metroid and Galaxy. And the release dates were good. But besides that there isn't much else. It just goes to show you this E3 wasn't planned out as well as last E3s, this is from Nintendo and the ESA.

I think Nintendo will struggle with good games in 2008. Only Mario Kart is the one worth waiting for in 2008. I expect a Mario Tennis and Mario Golf game in 2008 or 2009.

Where's the "mediocre" option? They did so and so, no better or worse than Microsoft.

I think Nintendo did all right. Like many of you I would have loved to see more games announced, but I am beginning to think that Nintendo has something up their sleeves. Surely they must know that after the holidays their fans will have nothing to look forward too. I think that they are just holding back, and are waiting to slap the competition later. Aren't their more press confrences or something later this year? Nintendo obviously must not care what Micrsoft and and Sony think. They are gonna do their own thing, and in the past it has always worked. I have faith in Nintendo, and am excited to see what they will have in store for us later.

Nintendo did good. Many people thought that the part when Reggie keeps talking was boring, but it was very interesting in my opinion. However, I would have liked to see more new games or features...

Well, Nintendo Stats are very important to note, but they did spend alittle too much time on that and not enough games and I'm not talking about Wii Fit :|.

Compared to 2006 when Nintendo had the best E3 of the 3 next gen consoles. Nothing new was shown this year only Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii. Mario Kart Wii was my main highlight for Nintendos E3 this year

They did well for the rest of 2007 but they did not give the Hardcore gamers much support beyond that.

I am able to enjoy light-hearted games. I see the potential the Wii balance board has with 'real' games. I liked to see release dates. But when hearing all that stuff about 'Nintendo is for everyone' and 'everyone is a gamer', during the whole conference, I felt like shouting: WHAT ABOUT US?? I wanted more new game announcments.

Completely agree with you. Wii Fit's presentation was way too long. Of course, it's important to know that Nintendo cares about gamers' health and all, but anybody would have prefered more info about Mario kart or Super Mario Galaxy...

That is where they lacked this E3. They left the hardcore gamers of what games to come. Sony and Microsoft showed positive games for the future, but Nintendo only showed us Mario Kart. Also Nintendo has that play of attack for picking up new gamers with Wii Fit. If you also think about it, there are countless things they can do with the board. I also picked up how really short Nintendo's conference compared to the other two. I do think Nintendo is holding back and refueling for the coming months.

A friend of mine was at E3, and had his hands (or feet) at Wiifit. He said he was moreso impressed by the Wii balance board then the game itself. This gives great potentional for cool games!

I agree. Think about a skateboarding or a snowboarding game. The balance board would be like a real board! I think that it would be awesome! :D
