manufacture the GBA and GCN?  Right now it looks like they are manufacturing 4 consoles, Wii, DS, GCN, and GBA.  They have to at least halt production of one of them soon

I think they will probably stop the GCN first by the end of November, but the GBA will probably continue till about half way through next year

Surely the Game Boy Micro production has slowed to little more than a crawl? I mean, how many new GBAs do you see on shop shelves nowadays? GBA production will be cut before GC. The original DS model will follow after that.

that's a very good question. i would think cube production is very low if any right now, why make more when there are still cube in inventory?? IF they are still making them, i would expect production to stop this year. that way they move remaining stock over the holidays and have very little left over.

GBA - same for the holiday season...i think they may stop production next year sometime, maybe summer?

i may try to get an answer on this subject and post it back.

I think manufacturing will stop for both systems sometime around January or February, mainly because each console still have some decent games coming out.  Super Paper Mario and Zelda are still scheduled for the cube, and Final Fantasy V and VI are still scheduled for the GBA.

I think they are going to stop produce the GBA soon ( it's completely useless now that the DS and DS lite can play GBA games. They will stop making GCs at sometimes near March or May surely.

Micro's might stop, GCN might stop a year after Wii, and Standard DS Phat might stop in several months.

how many think the Micro was a flop?  I do.  It didnt really sell that well, and in fact it was only a few months after it came out that I stopped even seeing demo displays of it.

I think it was flop too. Everyone had an SP and saw no reason to upgrade.

I have a micro and let me tell you - it is hands down (no pun intended) the best iteration of GBA line. I've owned all 3 of them and this is my favorite by miles. I went to the store to buy the backlit SP, but they didn't have any and the micro said in a very midgety type high pitched voice 'hi wickerman, wouldn't like to buy me and take me home and play games on me???'

what the hell was i suppossed to do???!?!?!?! i said i' i sure would little buddy'

i think it's only sold like 2 million though - i'm glad to have one. it's something i can't describe until you have it and are playing it.

Actually Super Paper Mario is now a confirmed wii game so only zelda.

that doesnt mean it wont be for the GCN too, and they only said that in Japan.  The GCN version never was officially "canceled"

I think the GBA will stop production after FFV and FFIV, the GCN will still have a few months of life, but after a swarm of horrible titles:(

Not much longer i dont think. The GCN will proberly stop being made when the wii launches. As for the GBA and DS well... the GBA for maybe 6 months more? and the DS will be made for a long time more than a year longer at the very least.

The Micro launch would have been better months of even years earlier. Really, it's TOO small. And for anyone who doesn't know, When I was 13 years old, I weighed 13 stone (about 60-70 KGs). That was way overweight for my age, but you'd be a liar if you called me fat. Basically, I'm big. Naturally big. My fists are huge, my fingers are blobs, but I'm not fat >___>.

Poor GameCube, it's never mentioned in ''current-gen'' consoles.
