I think it should. So far it's one of the best of its series.

Anyone who doubts the awsomeness of this game should be forced to play a run with the language set to 'Lylat'. When I first played it on this setting, me and my friends were convinced we had damaged the cartridge somehow. After we figured it out, we were rolling around laughing every time we played (we were 11 years old, we had a right to be immature).

well, after all of this Starfox Command hype and Starfox 64 talk i decided to replay the game again.  Sadly i got a pretty bad score of about 765.  My highest is 930, and that was when i was 5 :?  My brother has the top score of 1030

Absolutely, this game is undoubtedly the best in the series and should have been a model for all the lackluster (in my opinion) sequels that followed. At this point, I'm literally begging for a Star Fox 64-molded sequel...

I voted No because i thought it was nothing but improved graphics. When the original Star Fox came to the snes it just blew you away, but the 64 version was good but definatley not worth the wait. I mean it barley had any new moves and the new ships only made appearences in the 3 levels. I can understand how someone whome never played the game could find this version so good but if you saw and played the original it was merley nothing more then a graphics improvment.  Even though i enjoyed and will play it again, I just think a hall of fame game should be absolutley perfect.

Although Starfox SNES was more Legendary, 64 COULD be a good addition.

I think it should be because Star Fox 64 brought a lot of people to the Star Fox franchise. It was the first one I had. It was awsome!!!

I think it should be. The graphics are superb, gameplay face paced and addictive, replay ability. This is a game that I play over again not because I love the Starfox Franchise but, because it's just so fun and easy to pick up and play! ^_^

Basicly I wouldn't mind if it was the Super Nintendo version or this one or possibly Starfox: command haven't tried it yet but I plan on getting it soon.

i've never played the one for the SNES, so that's why I like 64 so much.

what?? i  played the original about 10 billion times (really) - the 64 version improved in many ways. the framerate was smooth and the gameplay was fast - ship control is much more fluid than the original, the path taken dependant on your abilities was nice (instead of choosing easy normal or hard) - it owns the original IMO.....much more than a graphics upgrade.

okay i guess i might have over done it but to be honest all those improvment came with the territory of making a new version for the n64 i mean the console had some frekin fluid games like oot and m64 by the time the game launched so in that sense it almost had to deliver. I liked the whole path dependng on your level but i was basiclly hoping for more turn and roll moves then was actually featured and maybe more characters.  When i think back i really don't find a great achievment in its improvment and i guess i'm being a bit harsh cause i think it should cme to the hall of fame after the original.
