Im new to the Evolution of Nintendo and I've read posts saying it has as much power as a hairdryer? Are the graphics that bad are they better then gamecube many people are saying no? I understand that Nintendo's going with bad graphics tons of fun and PS3 great graphics less fun but how bad are the graphics can someone fill me in. Also is there going to be online play? I am 100% Nintendo over PS or X-BOX but i havent been following the console wars very closely so can you guys fill me in please. :D

that was just a joke, obviously hairdryers dont have processors and graphics chips :P  Wii is more powerful than a GCN, but only slightly (it's about on par with an Xbox).  As for the online service, it exists but games wont be online until 07.  WiiConnect24 will be up and running though so you can switch Mii's via the internet, browse the web, shop through the virtual console, view the news and weather channels, and more.

Right now all the games are really Gamecube-level in terms of graphics. I really want to see hopefully within the next year a title that really shows what the Wii can do graphically, although it's not how a game "looks" but rather how it "feels"

A slight correction, It is about 2X the power of the GCN, and slightly above the Xbox. The performance is a bit better than "slightly" more than the GCN.

Graphics are the last thing on my mind for the Wii but thats just me.
