If you could go back to any FF and change the lead, who would it be and why?
I would have to choose Vincent in FF7 just because he is so darn cool looking, and the cape flying out behind him, man he was one cool character when you were 8 years old.

FFX. [spoiler] Well i think the game could be a lot fun to se it from the Al Bhed side so i will say Rikku. Rikku for life! YEY! She got all the things she needs to be a lead character! And the comflict of her being an Al Bhed and wakka not liking them could have been done alot more with to! [/spoiler] FFIX [spoiler] Vivi, then they would focus on the fact that Vivi wasn't all real in away:S Hard to say but i think that could have been really cool to! [/spoiler]
Definatley in FFIX having Vivi as the lead would make the ga,e much more enjoyable and would still be possible
Havign Rikku as the lead wouldnt really work though in FFX, the story wouldnt function
I also think the main character for FFVII should have been Sep. :P
.....actuallly the only two FF I have issues with the main characters are games that could have easily be changed Viviv being the lead in FFIX, and any character but Vaan being the lead in FFXII, preferable lead would be Balthier, although story would not likely be the same at the very beginning of the game
X could have been Yuna but we got her in X-2 I don't think you could have this one any other way wivout completely changing the story Tidus or Yuna. In VII you could probably have used Tifa, she's in it all the way and would have worked wiv the same story, I don't think any of the other characters would have though. VIII was gud how it was cuz you could actually see the other characters so that wasn't so bad but if it was the same I wouldn't know because the onlycharacters that you could play as wivout dramatically chaging the story was Rinoa. All the girls basically. Perhaps you should get to choose out of the main male and female character in the games. My favourite overall character is Tifa so obviously I think she should have eben the main character ni VII lol. I guess it works how it is but it would be great to at least get a choice.
I think Vaan could be exchanged for the lead role with Ashe, because Ashe for the most part was working towards something, a goal. Vaan was basically just along for the ride.
