Favourite Final Fantasy Villain

Which made it even more unlikely :P Thanks for correcting me I think I might play FF VI again when I beat FF I. My save file was somehow deleted and I was already at WoR... :(

Well, I can say it's a classic RPG, and it aged, but I like it. Kind of linear, but the optional dungeons make up for it. Although I'm not really sure if I'm gonna beat Omega or Shinryu because I didn't pick a white mage :(

It's quite an old game, but it is a timeless classic, though some parts of it have not aged as well as others. The gameplay is simple but fun. The story was amazing in it's day but alot of modern FF fans don't like it because it's not as complex as something like FFVI. I liked it though. The plot twist at the end is surprising.

Well, I picked a Warrior, Monk, Thief, and Red Mage because I think they looked cool. I did the job change too by the way, so now my Knight and my Master are the damage dealers, especially when I get my Ninja and Red Wizard to buff them up. Although Curaja would've really come in handy because my Red Wizard is obsolete, should've gotten a White Wizard :P Now my hope lies on getting these Power Plus items to boost my Master's attack, boost some more levels (tried Omega and Shinryu at level 55 but now my party's lvl 71 thanks to Death Gaze :P ) Pretty sure I can take down Chaos already though.

Why do you hate everything that isn't Final Fantasy VII? Seriously why? Why can't you state your opinions in a dignified and respectable manner? It occurs to me that you are not a Final Fantasy fan. You seem to only like one game in the series, and that is like calling yourself a Metallica fan if all you know is Sad But True and Enter Sandman.fs_metal

I dont really have an opinion on the first games of the series as i didnt play them and i only started at number 10.

ff1 is a classical peice of steaming dog s**t.i mean c'mon that game has to be one of the worst rpg's in history.the battle system is slow and boring.and vincent from ff7 had more story then ff1 and thats sad.and the enimies can talk but your characters are mute wth? and the game has a horrible sense of direction.the only good thing that i can say about final trash 1is that it gave birth to a good series.and let's be honest final fantasy did'nt start getting good till ff7 came out.MASTERBLADEX

Wow, dumbest statement I have ever read. FFI was good. III was great. And didn't you say III was good on the topic discussing it, making the series good at III? And if FFI is so bad, why has all of the remakes put together sold 75 MILLION copies? That's more than Super Mario Bros(can't remember which one) which sold 42 million.

The reason FFI had a "horrible" sense of direction is because they wanted you to find out where to go yourself. Not all gamers want to have their hand held the entire game. I guess you'd never beat any Metroid game, since the new ones just say "Go to this planet. We're not gonna say if you have to backtrack to another one or not to find clues on how to advance. Figure that out yourself."

We've gone off topic, quit bickering about each FF game's popularity. Who care's if a game is good just because they sold loads than the other. In the end of day, its really whether those buyers were satisfied. DreadDLordD
