RULES:

1. One user can submit a maximum of 4 signature images for this competition.

2. The deadline for submission will be the day 20th of May.

3. During every voting event/stage, only one vote per member is taken into account.

4. All published results are final, all appeals / complaints will be ignored.

5. All submitted images must be made by the participating user. Any infringement of other users' copyright will be dealt with severely.

6. The pictures in the submitted sig images can only consist of pictures that are related to Final Fantasy.

7. Entries should not be larger than 400 x 200 pixels in size, but there is no limit to how large the file size can be.

8. The images submitted can be of any graphically readable format. (e.g. JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP)

9. For further enquiries, please send a PM to the Competition Masters or any of the union's Administration Officers.

Frequently Asked Questions:

First and foremost, please read the RULES carefully.

1. How do I submit the Signatures into the contest?
Just post a new post in this Submission thread, with the images you wish to submit into the competition. If you happen to have a name for the image you submit, label it!

2. Must the submitted images consist of my own name/user id/nickname?
Of course, it must consist of your own name! Hence, it is called a "Signature".

3. What software can I use to create the images?
Any digital imaging software can do, a person who has mastered PAINT can do a good job too. If you really have no idea which software you can use, GIMP is a free imaging software you can download and try out. (Try googling it!)

4. Can I use different images from different games in one single image?
Yes, and No. You can only use images from FINAL FANTASY titles, and one single image can consist of images from different FINAL FANTASY titles.

5. Is there a Judging Panel? Who are the judges?
There is NO judging panel. Only voters. All members of the FFFU can vote for or against any image, complying with the rules according to each voting stage.

This FAQ section will be constantly updated, should there be a need to.

1) PS doesnt seems to work well today

2) Thats the best thing I can do with paint :P

The art isn't mine. Lol, took me a while to think of how to use PS again. I hardly know how to use it but through a few tutorials I was able to pull something together. I'll probably make more.

Sadly, as I am the Competition Master (and to avoid any interest conflicts), I dont get to vote in any Sig and/or Banner Competition :(. But everybody else can :P!

Here's my 1st entry. Damn I'm rusty.

I went about this one fairly similar but I didn't add textures or put as much effort into it as the first one, lol. Okay, since it's Cloud, maybe it'll be liked more.

I may also explain this a little more. You will see that the process of voting is very simple and it will be carry like previous years. First of all, the voting will be divided into several rounds (depending on the submissions). The person whose signature enters a round isnt able to vote in that round, but everybody else (member or officer) can (not me of course) :)

As for Smarts, since he is participating, he will be treated as every other participant. The thing is that as he is part of the Administration team, he will be in charge of the competition if -for whatever reason - Im not able to continue with it. In that scenario, he wont be able to vote in neither of the rounds. :)

Btw, Im also extending the deadline to a final date of May 20th, so you can work on more signatures :twisted: lol..
