FFIII Going to PSP

In last week?s issue of Jump, Final Fantasy III was announced for the PSP. Today, Square Enix has released a Teaser Traile.

 The new version will be based on the DS remake from 2006 with some new features from the iOS and Android versions of the game.

These include:

- 16x9 resolution
- A gallery with a BGM player and illustrations
- An option for changing between the original Famicom music and the updated DS music
- An Auto-Battle feature that doubles the battle speed and allows the characters to fight on their own.

So what do you say? will you buy it? I migght since I havent played it on DS :P

They keep re making games. Although I like the idea of playing the older games with great graphics and voice acting i'd prefer if they'd release Versus XIII :PBalmane

Still no word on the HD rerelease of FFX.....

I will probably get this because I no longer have FFIII on ds. Besides I have FF!,II, and IV on the PSP. Plus I am kind of interested in the original tracks;)

They will probably release FF5 and 6 for PSP one day aswell.Balmane

The HD makeover. But that is not really worth making them again. I would rather have remakes of V and VI:P.

Yeah, they do love making remakes. I am sure we will see FFXII get a HD remake. I kind of want that.

True. A FFVII remake would sell well, but could disappoint easily. I would like one, but SE has to be careful about it. What the remake could accomplish is giving Vincent and Yuffie more of a role. Better graphics obviously. New FF fans to get into it. Also, a refined battle system. What if they used a battle system similar to XIII. They could incorporate fight scenes. But in truth FFVI and FFV need remakes more. And I would rather see the FFs expanded on rather than remade. Like finishing FFVII compilation. Genesis is free. Then give sequels to FFVIII and FFIX.

Yeah Lets hope. It has that steampunk style too. I think Versus will do well in terms of sales. Not sure about reviews. Because the hype is so high for it. Let us hope. The next FF to come out after Theatrythm is XIV early next year. Well FFXIV 2.0 anyways. Then the PS3 version shortly after that. Type-0 and FFXHD after that. I think X_2 should be put with FFX. It would make me happy.

If they did that then they might aswell have a PS2 era FF collection with FFX, FFX-2 and FFXII.

It was one of the news on GS that there won't be a remake of FFVII until they game make a game that's on par with it. Meaning it has to get great reviews an sell almost aswell. Which I hope Versus does.Balmane

That sounds pretty good to me. They also need to do something like that with Kingdom Hearts HD Collection.

Yeah but KH 3 will be amazing. I have a feeling:P I can't wait. Thats why I want Versus out already so KH 3 can commence. Yeah maybe 2 KH Hd collections with all the KH games. Like GoW:P

I don't usually get teary with games but I do get sad sometimes depending on what happens.

That's interesting. Though I am happy with my DS version. None of those extras are really important to me.

And as for the current topic: Yes, a Kindom Hearts collection with the final mix versions would be amazing. Though I think Re:Chain of Memeries should be included.
