When you play your FF game, do you depend on your offensive magic users a lot? Or your high-strength melee attack characters?
Or, you try to have a most balanced team of characters in battle at any one time.

[QUOTE="kinetic-core"]but dont you think some black magic spells and some status-inflicting spells can aid in melee attacks so much? And, a magic spell always look cool :PDarmiWell I'm a very busy person and I don't have time to watch all that animation and sparklies :P let me assume this, you were sleeping throughout FFX's random battles, especially boss fights, where bosses spam magic on you, and you have to watch the looooooooong animation. FFX-2 is fast though, nothing fancy, and it's really boring after sometime, cos you don't see anything fancy. Okies... am i contradicting myself ? :P
I like both, usually I will play one character to be uber melee and one character to be uber magic, everyone else try to balance.Brian_WCUsame here:D
Go for the tank and, if your playing the right FF, give them one or two strong spells like Ultima. Or just play VI(***) and have every character a tank with good magic.
A balancd party, of course. You never know when you may encounter a enemy that makes one of either physical attacks or magical attacks impratical to use.RaiKageRyuya~but it also can both attack
My parties are balanced but I like the sharp stabbing things more!
FFI: 2 Knights, one wielding an Excalibur, the other Masamune.
FFII: Magic just plained sucked in this game.
FFV: Duel wield and X-shot!
FFVI: Genji Gauntlet and Offering.
FFVII: 4 Cut with Added Cut Materia.
FFIX: Steiner's Climhazzard and Shock.
FFX: Hastega, I don't really consider this magic I know it is White Magic but it comes from Tidus so more support for me. Hastega and Quick Hit =pure pwnage.
