Technicially, the FFXII chars. don't have a set class, thus there is no attacker, warrior, paladin, white mage, etc.

They level up slightly differently apparently.  Ashe is supposed to be a jack of all trades.

Interesting. Ha, not bad. I like that idea of a Tactics char. Please specify which char. if they're from multiple games. There is a difference.

The ultimate Tactics char. for me was a Black Mage with Teleport, secondary abilities of a Samurai, and duel-wielding staff's do increase magic power.

I used Balthier, Ashe, and Basch. Fran was my "Substitute", however my main party is all lvl 64, and she's lvl 24. Penelo, lvl 14, and Vaan lvl 13.

I didnt leveld up Balthier at the begining...Just that,,I dot like him too much...But now I used Vaan, Basch and Ashe in the party, somehow even do Penel ahs more magic, Ashe is stronger.:P

Thats good cus since bathiers guns are supper nice starting off, the last 80% he seems really slugish and not to usefull. ^thats the party I use.eztarg8

^!? what no the guns are beast, it's more than double that it says it is. The guns do more damage than swords do. Later in the game it doesn't get any faster, thats why it stinks. Guns are sweet.eztarg8

Well? well I tried to use a balance team (in weapons terms), but at the end guns wasnt of great support :P ( i prefered Spears, swords and maybe bows for long range :?

agreed, bows do rock in most cases, but a good old sword can put anyone in there place :DLinkz0r

That's not always true. The only reason it is even close to being true is because gun's ingnore the target's defense. Usually sword's do more.

when it comes to the best FF team, I would think Cloud (Omnislash and knights of the round, and full cure materia, and revive materia with life 2 learned), Squall (lionheart renzokuken and Eden, and plenty of curagas and full-lifesjunctioned), and then Ashe ( with all magicks learned).

they wouldn't be able to do anything if Square-Enix never created them in the first place, and gave them all of their moves, therefore making Square-Enix the ultimate team.
