[QUOTE="JadeTorchwood"][QUOTE="Falcon084"]I have the original FFIX game as well along with a downloaded verison of FFIX so I can play it anywhere on my PSP.I have the original. It's a great edition, I hope you get it :)

Same Here :D. Love FFIX :P
Glad I'm not the only one with a hard copy of FFIX along with a downloaded verison of the game for the PSP. I just love playing FFIX.There could be possible spoilers concerning the villians so beware. Yeah IX is a good game that has not received the attention it deserves. FFVII is my favorite, but because I love the scifi plot. I love Kefka because of his insanity. Also why I like Sephiroth. Kuja is not exactly insane. Kuja was interesting because in the end his ultimate goal was survival. Sephiroth wanted power. Kefka wanted power. Exdeath wanted power. Almost all of the villians were in it for power. Genesis was the same thing. His goal was survival. Now this usually means they turn good, but interesting none the less. Ultemecia was interesting because one of her goals was to escape death as well. Inevitaqble death by SEED. She tried and tried but it was impossible for her to escape her fate. She wanted power still though. Galenth already had power. Caius was in it for love. The ones that want power though are most persistent. Sephiroth dies and comes back twice. Seymour you could not kill. Kuja was a d=sad villian and one you could almost relate to.
Yeah truthfully Kefka is the best insane FF villain and probably the best villian in the series. Not my favorite but the best. Sephiroth would be up there too. And you are right the villains that want power do have different personalities. Sephiroth's insanity happened at the realisation that he was a monster. Genesis took it better than Sephiroth. Angeal, Genesis, and Sephiroth were all in the same position. Sephiroth could not handle this revelation. It is too bad because he really was a good guy. Kefka is like the Joker in a lot of ways. he also kind of makes you laugh sometimes. Though Kefka becomes a god. Sephiroth never achieved this. Sephiroth perhaps is a better fighter. I really so not know. I did not mention Vayne, but I don;t like him very much. Gabranth was the cool villian.
Square made such amazing characters and villains. They really need to make better villains now. The last good one for me is in the KH games.BalmaneI agree big time. I mean we have not really had a good FF villian since FFX. FFX had Seymour which was a great villain. FFXI was an MMO. FFXII had Vayne. He was not a good villian at all. Gabranth=Darth Vader. Gabranth was a good character. Vayne goes from shady politician to muscular guy using his fists lol. XIII hasd the lamest villain ever. Galenth was an old man. That could turn into a face. Caius was pretty good though in my opinion. And was different than most villains. KH has Xehanort which is an awesome villain. I always liked Lynx from Chrono Cross:P
Chrono Cross is not in Europe! Releasing it as a PSone classic would have been a great opportunity to bring it there. Square wonders why Chrono games are not good in sales. They need to release it everywhere. I did not know that. Why do companies have so much trouble localizing there games? It upsets me when games stay in Japan so i can only imagine how you feel. Though it seems Europe gets the back door to things and companies try to sweep it under the rug with exclusive collectors editions. It is getting better, but it really needs to be fixed. At least they finally got TotA over there. I am glad they decided to release ToGF in Europe.
That is odd. Especially since Chrono Trigger was released there. I wonder what the reasoning is. the Tales series is horrible in the fact that it is hard to get them anywhere else but Japan.
Well, that sucks that Europe didn't get Chrono Cross. I managed to find a hard copy of Chrono Cross a while back myself. I always hated how games from the Tales series are hard to find. The ones I have already (Phantasia, Legendia, & the PS2 verison of Abyss) with the execption of the 3DS remake of Abyss I asked for either my birthday or Christmas to get them. It's kinda easy to find Tales of the World-Radiant Mythology 1. I wish they would release the PSP versions of Phantasia, Eternia, & Rebirth along with releasing Tales of VS, and the other two Radiant Mythology games.FFXIII had a terrible villian but the last boss was KICKASS.
They really need to bring a new Chrono game out and actually bring Chrono Cross to Europe.Â

Yes they do need to bring the PSP versions over here. I also would like the Tales of Destiny remake and Tales of Destiny 2(the real one:P). Tales of Rebirth I really want. I still have not gotten to play Vesperia. I don't have a 360.
Tales of the Abyss is available on 3ds in Europe. Tales of Graces will release on Aug 31 I think. Tales of Xillia localization was just announced for US and Europe.
I really do wanna play them now after talking about the Tales games so much :PBalmaneYeah, the Tales games are really good.
[QUOTE="Balmane"]I really do wanna play them now after talking about the Tales games so much :PJadeTorchwoodYeah, the Tales games are really good. Jade, Are you excited for Tales of Xillia? Ni no Kuni can hold me over till ToX:P
My sister has a 3ds but the next game I will be getting for that is KH3DBalmaneI just got Theatrythm:P
Sorry for posting twice....
How do you find it?BalmaneIt is very addicting and fun. It has a lot to unlock. It makes me want to play FFVI and FFVII again. I love Celes's theme. I also love the theme of Aerith. It is a good FF anniversary thing. It is a really good tribute to the music. My team leader is Cloud and I unlocked Omnislash when I reached lv 40:P
Does it have a story to it?BalmaneYeah I probably will review it after I'm done. The story sucks........it barely has a story. You get points and when they reach a certain point you fight Chaos in a music battle. The story is obviously lacking. I would not get it for story. There is three modes: Challange, Chaos Shrine, and series. In series mode you have a choice between FFs. I-XIII. Each one features a Event song in which you tap to events from the game. For example FFVII features Aerith theme. It shows Sephiroth in fire. Shows Aerith dying etc.. Then there is the battle. FFVII features One winged Angel. Big suprise there. Then Field music. Then challenge mode allows you to play through any song you like. Including ones you unlock. Dlc as well. Then Chaos Shrine is where you try to defeat dark notes. It is Field music then battle. Very difficult. The game suprisingly has loads of content. In my opinion between this and KH 3d. KH 3d. But if you are a fan of FF music check it out.
Ah like Dissidia. That also has a terrible story.BalmaneExactly;) Except this story makes Dissidia story look good:P
They should just keep the stories to their main games :PBalmaneYeah most definitely. Theatrythm succeeds at being a rythm game. But as far as everything else fails. Not worth 40 dollars. I have a stylus with a Cloud sticker:P

I have a stylus with a Cloud sticker:P I'm not surprised that Theatrythm has a crappy story. Well, I finally got my first Final Fantasy action figure. It's an action figure of Seifer Almasy from Final Fantasy VIII. I got him at McKay's used book store which also sells used CDs, MP3 players, game systems, video games and action figures in Chattanoga, Tennessee. There are two other McKay's stores in both Nashville and Knoxville. It was cool finding my first FF action figure, but I wish it was an action figure of one of my favorite FF characters like Aerith, Zidane, Sephiroth, Vivi, Cloud, Squall, Terra, & a few more. I paid about $19.95 plus tax for the Seifer action figure. It's still in the box. The Seifer toy did come with the gunblade, Hyperion, that he uses in FFVIII. The only thing that I don't like about the toy is that Seifer's hair is more brown than the blonde hair that he has in the game. If anyone wants to see the newest addition to my Final Fantasy collection, go to deviantart.com. My username on DA is jadetorchwood.[QUOTE="Balmane"]They should just keep the stories to their main games :Pjohngrose77
That's cool, I would also like to collect figures. Maybe one day!BalmaneThanks! I was just lucky to find that action figures of Seifer from FF8 on that day & at a good price. Don't worry. I think you will start with your own collection.
I went to one of my friends house today, I remembered she had some form of FF figurine. Then I got into her livingroom and BAM!. A massive statue of the Judges summon in FF7 standing on her TV, or shelf above/at the side of it.
Kinda nice to know someone close to me actually knows this series well.Â
