Man I'm so glad to have a proper frying pan now.
Bacon, eggs, sausages, mushrooms, and OJ for the 4th day in a row.
I think I'm also long overdue for a homemade steak sandwich...

That sounds heavenly :P
It's good to cook some proper food for myself for once :P
I've always been very lazy with the home cooking, but that's mostly because all there's been is two stainless steel woks in the cupboard... not really suitable for general cooking.
But oh my goodness! A deep non-stick frying pan (bought on special at the supermarket for $5), I can do so much now!

Has it got a lid with a tiny hole in it? Then you can do even more!

Nah, no lid (I suppose I could buy one to fit it). But $5 for non-stick goodness? I'll feel much more inclined to do a bit more cooking from now on.
I should probably talk to my sister about a few simple recipes (I hate preparation, so nothing that takes too much effort...). She's been vegan/vegatarian for years, and her fiance has worked as a cook, so I should have no shortage of good food to make.

The lid gives the option for more saucy/liquid based food I think.
E: I think it also cooks things a little quicker because it contains the heat.
Oh yes...
$3 fresh supermarket pizza (meatlovers). But I also seperately bought capsicum, olives, mushrooms, a bag of mozerella, and threw all that on top. It certainly beat the shit out of the usual takeaway pizza.
Now a green tea to wash it all down...

I'm not really sure why I never considered it before (well, I probably have but just never bothered). But with each of the packaged fresh pizzas there only costing $3 now (about half price of the frozen stuff), they make for an awesome ready-made base to pile other ingredients on.
I'm totally going to start doing this every friday (I couldn't help myself last night. The idea just sounded too good...).

I'll try many things on pizza.
Pineapple just isn't one of those things, heh...
I don't even like pineapples much, but they're delicious on pizza.Â

My usual large batch of fusilli bolognese.
Still just throwing in the usual jar of pasta sauce, but been recently adding in a whole onion, big arse pile of mushrooms, and a bit of green capsicum as well (and the usual sprinkles of herbs and cayenne pepper).
